LNG is about

32 % of world gas trade

• The terminal will be only installation of that size in Northern and Central - Eastern Europe. Its

construction and the possibility of re-export of LNG will affect the entire regional gas market. The project will create a new market in the Baltic region.

• Today in Europe operate 21 LNG regasification terminals, in the world - 94, with a total capacity of 902 billions of cubic meters.

• In the period of 41 years (to 2011) there was a 65 - fold increase in the market (the average growth

rate of LNG - 14.6%, natural gas - 3.9%). Further increase up to 200% in 20 years (by 2030) is projected.

6

Regasification capacity of LNG Terminal in Świnoujście will be on the level

of 5 billions of m3 what is about 30% of Polish requisition for natural gas.

There are possibilities to increase the capacity of the terminal till to 7.5

billions m3

Market demand includes both regasification and additional services such as: LNG truck and rail cistern loading, reloading to smaller vessels, LNG storage in the terminal and what is very important bunkering services. According to the European

Commission, the most promising alternative fuel for sea

transportation is liquefied natural gas. From 2015 the European

Union will apply new standards for fuels used in shipping (ten times less sulphur limit in the fuel of all vessels in the Baltic Sea, North Sea and English Channel - from the current 1 percent to 0.1 percent.) This new standards in practice will eliminate the usage of the most popular fuel, which is heavy diesel oil. It makes the big opportunity for LNG terminal in Świnoujście.

Thanks to it the owners will be able to bunker their ships with LNG in Poland

Disclosed market potential already today justifies the expansion of the terminal for another LNG tank which will increase the possibility of imports from 5 to 7.5 billion m3 of gas.

In late 2012 and early 2013 Polish LNG conducted Market Screening, which main objective was to determine

the demand for development of LNG Terminal in Świnoujście, including increased regasification capacity and

the provision of additional services, from entities potentially interested in LNG market. The results of the Market

Screening indicate a significant demand for increased regasification capacity, as well as other services that

may be provided by Świnoujście LNG Terminal.

Future of the terminal

Following new functionalities of the terminal are analysed:

• Increased regasification capacity

• LNG truck cistern loading • LNG rail cistern loading for further distribution • Vessels bunkering with LNG fuel in LNG Terminal in Świnoujście

• Reloading to smaller vessels for further distribution • LNG storage in the terminal in tanks without regasification immediately after delivery
