REAWAKENING, GROWING AND CELEBRATING OUR CATHOLIC FAITH TOGETHER—WELCOMING ALL.

    SOCIAL JUSTICE CORNER

“Wherever you are, whatever pla orm you have, whatever sphere of in uence you enjoy, the me is now for all of us to do something. The me is now to use our

bodies to protect the bodies of those who are unsafe. The me is now to use our in uence, to take a stand, to be-

come ac ve, to go to places to demand jus ce, and to dis-rup vely remove ourselves from places. The me is now to raise our voices to be heard and to call on our na on to recognize the e ects of racism in our criminal jus ce sys-tem and to reimagine public safety in this country.”

    — Rev. Terrance M. McKinley

A dona on in the St. Vincent de Paul

boxes at the doors of each Church is a nice way of remembering our needy.

Thank you for helping us help others.

    PLEASE DRESS WARM

Every e ort must be made to ensure maxi-mum ven la on in our churches due to the pandemic, even through the winter. Windows and doors will remain open during the me the church is occupied.

Please dress appropriately and come to Mass dressed warmly. Thank you!

FALL FUEL COLLECTION We are now in the middle of the

winter season and the hea ng costs are upon us. Fuel Collec on total to date: $4,417

Thank you to those who have contributed to the

Fall Fuel Collec on. As a reminder to you, your generous do-na on to the parish Fuel Collec on will be used solely for the

hea ng costs of the parish’s buildings.

GRAND ANNUAL COLLECTION Total to date: $20,044

This collec on is taken once a year Dona ons are made either in one payment or pledges are made and paid monthly (September-February). The Grand Annual, in years past, was o en saved to create a “rainy day fund” for our parishes. Un-fortunately, now it is needed to help support our opera ng budget. Parishioners are asked to carefully consider an amount that circumstances will allow them to o er each year. A minimal gi of $250 is suggested, but all parishioners must carefully consider the sacri ce that they can make.

As always, thank you for your con nued generosity to St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Parish.

It is most appreciated. Use your smartphone to snap this QR code to made an electronic dona on to the Grand Annual using Give Bu er! CHRISTMAS FLOWER

    MEMORIAL

A memorial lis ng of your loved ones will be published in our bulle n during the Christmas Season. Thank you for your con-tribu ons and the support of our Parish.

Congratula ons to our stu-dents who made their First Reconcilia on over the last few weekends. They did a wonderful job and have now

experienced God’s love and mercy through most important sacrament of healing. Thank you to their teachers and the parents who bring them to Mass.
