LAST NIGHT’S FREAK POEM Last night I had a dream
In this dream I saw a big claw
Oh shit, it was my mother-in-law
And I shot her, a laser beam
Last night I went for a walk
In a park I met my future wife
She will be important in my life
Our love flew like a hawk
Last night I rode my bike
I was cycling all night
And I saw a street fight
One of the fighters was my friend Mike
Last night I played a new game
I lost my gold chain
But I felt no pain
It burned like a flame

A POEM
I wish I had been your first love.
When I think of you, I think of both.
You look like a jewel shining like a rainbow with all its colours.
You would like me to be mellow and not so jealous,
And I want you to see me more than something hollow.
Neither you nor I am going to know what will happen tomorrow.
You make me feel so good.
I wish we were like Marian and Robin Hood.
I like every moment I spend with you, in the street, at home and in
the car.
If I hadn’t met you, I wouldn’t know how wonderful you are.
I look forward to getting to know you much more.
But I don’t like being a bore.
We used to walk alone in our way.
Now, my way has been full of feelings since I met you that day.
I wish you were happy with me,
You look like the sunset over the big sea,
I enjoy your company,
When you aren’t here, I still remain looking for you in my memory

IF I HAD MY LIFE TO LIVE OVER…
If I had my life to live over,
I’d try to fulfil all my dreams.
I wouldn’t stop.
I would be more impulsive than I have been this trip.
I know of very few adventures I wouldn’t live.
I would forget laziness.
I would forget hesitating about going out.
I would sing in more karaokes, run more
kilometres and celebrate more good news.
I would think more about what I want
and less about what other people want me to do.
I would have more hopes and fewer moral duties.
You see, I am one of these people
who think twice before doing anything.
Oh, I have had my happy times,
if I had to do it over again, I’d have plenty of them.
In fact, I’d try to think only about it.
Just happiness, I’d have a great trip.
If I had my life to live over,
I would move to the North Pole for love.
I would give all my smiles to the people who love me.
I would not worry about the things I can’t solve.
I’d simply enjoy myself

LEARNING A LANGUAGE Learning a language
is like a song without lyrics.
It’s like being in a dark room at night
It’s like being caught in a web with no chance to survive
because you know it will eat you alive.
It’s like being a misguided ghost
travelling endlessly.
It’s like being isolated.
It’s like feeling alone in a room full of people.
It’s like singing without a voice,
like being blind in a shiny day,
like sleeping but never dreaming.
But then gradually
It’s like seeing the sun after a rainy day.
It’s like getting what you’ve been praying for,
like finding the place where you belong,
or someone to rely on.
And then one day is like finding your way home
after a long adventure.

You make me laugh
You make me feel good
You were always misunderstood
But I love your smile
and your silly jokes
that pop into your mind
and you crack
out of tune
in our English class.
We met at school a long time ago
lazy, ass-kisser students, you know
ducking and diving
we never did an exercise or wrote
the Globish composition
we picked up skills in a row,
but now we are on a road to nowhere
some days we see a light
at the end, in the night.
Perhaps we’ll never arrive
we don’t mind
we have shared plenty of time
enjoying ourselves.
I don’t give a damn
about languages
maybe we are lazy or mental
During the break,
at the boozer
I realize that we were born losers
Sometimes we think,
“this is not our cup of tea!”
You are my reason to learn English
I love coming to school to meet you,
it sounds weird,
I know Cesar and Joan Anton will be
jealous
as in John Lennon’s song.
Although this is not a glissando:
this is my ode to Fernando!

“I AM COME FOR A TABLE”.
Frau Martínez sagte mir:
__ Ich bin darüber sehr glücklich. Jetzt kannst du in deine Klasse gehen.
__ Nein, du hast mich nicht verstanden. I AM COME FOR A TABLE.
Die Kinder lachten, aber die Lehrerin nicht.
__ Was sagst du?
__ I AM COME FOR A TABLE
__ I AM COMFORTABLE?
__ Nein! I am come for a table! Und dann habe ich das Missverständnis
verstanden!

Zikade. Sie kam am Weg sehr fröhlich
vorbei, und spielte sein Instrument.
„Hallo liebe Ameise!, Was machst du?“
sagte die Zikade. Die Ameise erwiderte
bissig: „Du, Zikade...Wie immer so
unbefangen! Ich arbeite! Man muss
Nahrungen für den Winter
lagern.“
Die Zikade lachte und ging lustig
weiter.
Die Monate vergingen und der
Winter kam.
Lehrreiche Moral: Sie sollten
lernen zu verlernen. Lektion eins: Harte Arbeit garantiert keine guten
Ergebnisse.
