Whether they are scary or silly, it’s your chance to shine with our traditional parade through downtown Amherst. We’ll meet at Sweetser Park on Main Street across from Black Sheep Deli, gather for a short & wonderful parade up the street, around the corner, down to Kellogg Ave. and on to the Boltwood Parking Garage Plaza in Amherst! Join us after the parade at the Bangs Community Center as the fun doesn’t end. There will be a carnival with games and prizes, haunted house, performances, refreshments, and much much more. All ages and abilities welcome. Come in costume, with in-struments, noisemakers and a sense of play. Games and activities are 1 to 5 tickets. Tickets are $.25 each.

The last day to register will be October 10 before 4:30 p.m. Registrations received after October 10 will be placed on a “waiting list” and given windows as they are available. (Please let us know at the time of registration if you and your team are willing to wash your window after Halloween. Some merchants appreciate this greatly.) Windows are assigned by lottery and group size. Please understand that there are more participating businesses than just those on the two main streets of town, so let’s beautify ALL the windows with Halloween art this year!
