UV ADHESIVE TECHNOLOGY – BRILLIANT

The hinges are attached directly to the glass by means of the tried-and-tested duka UV adhesive technology. The inner surface of the glass is completely smooth, giving you both clear, uncluttered beauty and outstanding ease of cleaning.

DESIGN

New, linear, unobtrusive: The harmonious design of the hinges is everything you could ever wish for. The rounded corners enhance the beauty of the shower enclosure as a whole, in seamless flow with the other elements of your shower enclosure.

ADJUSTABLE AUTOMATIC CLOSE SYSTEM

With the tried-and-tested Automatic Close System, the doors glide smoothly along the last few centimetres and draw gently into the closed position.

180° HINGES

For the first time, the gallery 3000 series fea-tures a swing door with 180° hinges. The 90° bi-directional opening ensures easy access to the shower, even in smaller bathrooms.

HORIZONTAL SUPPORT

The horizontal support bars are, likewise, in complete aesthetic harmony with the linear features of the handle and profiles, and play their own part in enhancing the elegance of your shower enclosure. The minimum width of 11 mm guarantees absolute stability with minimum visual impact. The screws of the support bar are countersunk and flush with the surface, while its position allows for maximum flexibility when mounting the showerhead.

HANDLE

The handle is the result of practicality blended with ergonomic performance and design, and has been precision-designed to match the functional and aesthetic features of the door itself; the shape is in perfect harmony with the regular geometric lines of the enclosure. The rubber element within the handle in the inner side of the door ensures top functionality, particularly when in contact with water. For doors without a fixed frame component, the outer side of the handle is fitted with a buffer to protect the door, wall and furnishings in case of contact.

THE 4 SEAL SYSTEM

The seal system has also been integrated into the new gallery 3000 for even greater ease of cleaning and maintenance. The 4 seal system is fitted to the base of the glass panelling as a discreet aluminium profile together with a PVC seal insert. The inner deflector and soft flaps of the seal strip keep the water firmly in check. The seal strip can be removed quickly and easily for cleaning or replacement.

MAGNETIC ALUMINIUM PROFILE

A thin, aluminium profile with a magnetic insert is affixed to the vertical edge of the glass. The aluminium profile is calibrated to hold fast to the glass without adhesives, and keeps the magnet firmly in place when the door is in movement or during cleaning. Tolerance can be adjusted at the time of installation.

The classic model with vertical wall profiles guarantees optimum flexibility.The frame profile is fixed to the wall profile with a special “girofix” screw – easy, fast and a great timesaver! All it takes is a 90° turn of the girofix screw to ensure that the frame profile is firmly in place. This allows for adjustment of up to 25 mm on both sides. The girofix technique is then covered with a discreet clip profile, to blend the vertical profile seamlessly with the design of the whole.

The models featuring wall tie bars combine delicate aesthetics with intelligent practicality, absolute stability and stylish elegance. A socket screw within the panels of this model allows for adjustment during installation within a 5 mm range.

The flush-mounted models are the epitome of tailor-made design for people who want a shower enclosure to express a contemporary style. This version also allows for adjustment by means of the proven girofix system within the profile, which is then covered with a snap-on profile. All it takes is a 90° turn of the girofix screw to ensure that the panel is firmly in place. This system allows for adjustment of up to 5 mm.


New, smart and innovative. Three different installation methods accentuate the flexibility of the new gallery 3000. Alongside the traditional wall profile model, the range now includes wall-mounted hinge models and the very latest flush-mounted profile.

Less is more, and it doesn’t get more minimalist than this: The first-ever flush-mounted installation option for the new gallery 3000. The shower enclosure is affixed to the wall by means of a recessed profile: After the glass has been inserted, all you can see is a slim aluminium cover strip, flush with the wall. This model is the ultimate enhancement to the beauty and transparency of the glass, and allows for even greater speed and ease of cleaning. This version also features three colours of aluminium strip and a variety of types of glass provide even more opportunity for customisation.

PROCEDURE FLUSH-MOUNTED MODEL

IMPORTANTInstallation of the flush-mounted model

must be planned before bathroom renovations, as the profile must be level with the tiled surface.

STEP 1The flush-mounted model can be ordered in your

desired colours directly from your retailer.

STEP 3The shower area is tiled.

STEP 5The shower enclosure is installed.

PLEASE NOTE: The recessed profile can only be combined with a duka shower enclosure!

STEP 2The flush-mounted model must be installed on-site by a specialist (preferably a tiler), and all sealing regulations must be observed. The profile cover must be positioned inside the shower enclosure.

STEP 4Measurements are taken and product specifications for the shower enclosure are defined.

“Brilliant” adhesive technology

This icon indicates items where the hinges and fasteners are glued to the glass with the new innovative duka – brilliant UV adhesive technique.

The 4 seal system

An exceptionally discreet aluminium profile is fitted to the base of the glass together with a PVC seal insert – practically invisible, and outstandingly efficient. The water-repellent inner deflector and soft, downward-angled flaps keep the water firmly in check. The seal strip can be removed extremely quickly and easily for cleaning or replacement!

With your duka shower enclosure you will receive a comprehensive guarantee on the product. This is explained in the guarantee document which we enclose in the product packaging. On the rear of this certificate you will find an identification number (“ID”). Your “duka” ID allows us to track the progress of the shower enclosure at the factory at any time - from order to delivery. The guarantee includes a 5 year warranty for the client and a 10-year availability guarantee for spare parts.

Satinated silkscreen print in the centre of the glass creates a milky optical effect which provides privacy from view without compromising on the bright luminosity of the unit. GLASS PROCESSING

duka now offers a new, innovative glass which goes by the name of “ProCare.” The treatment takes place during the production of the panels: the surface is magnetron-sputtered with metal oxides in a vacuum. The tempering process activates and fixes the coating, ensuring that water runs full and fast off the glass surface, vastly reducing watermarks and keeping your glass as good as new far into the future. ProCare is available as an alternative to Protect coating for many products.

On request, duka shower enclosures are also available with PROTECT safety glass surface protection which guarantees high standards when it comes to use, clarity, transparency and cleanliness. Important: Do not use any abrasive cleaners or alkaline cleaning material.
