Disability Data Overview People with disabilities are leaders in the Federal Government.

GS 14 & 15:- In Sept. of 2011, 7.65% of all GS 14’s and 15’s were people with

disabilities. 6 months later, 8.09% of all GS 14’s and 15’s were people with disabilities.

- In FY 11, 12.26% of all GS 14 and 15 new hires were people with disabilities. In the first two quarters of FY12, 15.83% of all GS 14 and 15 new hires were people with disabilities.

Senior Executive Service (SES):- In Sept. of 2011, 4.3% of all the SES were people with disabilities.

6 months later, 4.55% of all SES were people with disabilities.- In FY 11, 4.06% of all SES new hires were people with disabilities.

In the first two quarters of FY12, 8.29% of all SES new hires were people with disabilities.

Federal Government Student Pathways Program

This program consists of a paid Internship Program for current students, the Recent Graduates Program, and the Presidential Management Fellows Program.

Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP)

As a student or recent graduate, you may also be able to take part in the Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP).

Annually, trained recruiters from federal agencies conduct personal interviews with interested candidates on college campuses.

Information from interviews is compiled in a searchable database that is available to hiring officials in federal agencies.
