【Enrolling from April 2017】

1. Obtain an application form from the kindergarten you wish to enroll your children in on weekdays.

2. Submit the completed form to the same kindergarten on weekdays between 8:30am-4:30pm from Nov.1 – Nov.11, 2016.

【Enrolling from other months】

You can enroll your child any time as long as there are vacancies. Obtain an application form from the kindergarten you wish to enroll your child in, and submit the completed form to the same kindergarten.

【Fees】

You need to pay a registration fee when accepted, as well as monthly fees. The fees vary depending on the income-based levy of parent’s resident tax(whether taxable or nontaxable income.) After-hours childcare service Kindergartens provide after-hours childcare service for those enrolled, from around 1:30pm to 4pm. Fees are charged per day. Reservation is necessary.

National holidays in Japan in October and November ・Taiiku no hi（Health-Sports Day / National Sports Day） Second Monday of October Health- Sports day was designated in 1966 to commemorate the opening day of the Tokyo Olympics held on October 10th 1964. of the Constitution of Japan on November 3rd 1946. Many cultural events are held throughout Japan during the period around

Culture Day. ・Kinro kansya no hi (Labor Thanksgiving Day)

November 23rd Labor Thanksgiving Day was designated in 1948. The holiday is to commemorate labor and production and give others thanks. It originates from Niiname-sai (Harvest Festival). In the ritual, the Emperor makes the season’s first offering of freshly harvested rice to the gods.
