Band registration is completed in 2 steps :1. Fill up the registration form.2. Upload at least 2 demos with minimum one original composition. NOTE: Bad quality of demos can effect shortlisting of bands eligible to compete in regional round. A studio version of the song is recommended, however not compulsory. Uploading band profile is advised. Registrations close on 15th October at 2359 hrs. Demos submitted after this deadline won't be considered for judging. The registration forms are not valid without demos and similarly the demos are not valid without the registration forms.

Event schedule: (Tentative)1) Regional eliminations a) South Zone, Bangalore : 21st October. b) East Zone, Kolkata : 28th October.c) North Zone, Delhi : 3rd November.d) West Zone, Mumbai : 3rd December.

2) Semi Finals, Mumbai: 19th December, NCC Court, IIT Bombay

3) Finals, Mumbai: 20th December, Main stage, Open Air Theater, IIT Bombay

Competition format:1) Selection through demos: Out of all the registered bands, 10 bands from each zone would be selected for the regional eliminations on the basis of their demos.2) Regional eliminations: Out of 10 bands competing in regional eliminations, 3 bands from each zone would be selected for the semi finals.

3) Semifinals: 12 bands will compete against each other and 3 bands will be selected for finals.

4) Finals: Finalists will compete against each other while doing an opening act for a famousInternational Headliner.

Rules and regulations:1) Eligibility: All bands are allowed to register. You DO NOT need to be a college band to participate in LIVEWIRE.2) The line-up of the band has to remain same throughout the contest.3) Travel reimbursement policy will be there only for the semi-finals and finals and would be conveyed to the bands after the regional round of eliminations.4) The Judges' decision shall be final and binding for all.5) The decision of the organizers with respect to line-up is final and abiding.6) Rights and indemnification: By entering the competition and submitting recordings to Mood Indigo, all entrants release, hold harmless and indemnify Mood Indigo, their employees, agents, and affiliates against all first, second and third party claims arising from any song and/or recording submitted which violates any of the competition rules or is the result of any breach of any warranty, representation, covenant or agreement and from any and all liability for any injuries or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the competition. Mood Indigo is not responsible for late, lost, damaged or postage due entries or for any problems or delays arising from mail carrier, common carrier or courier failure or malfunction. Mood Indigo reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not meet the requirements herein outlined at any time.The Mood Indigo 2012 team holds the right to change the rules at any moment of time.Breach of any rules at any stage of the entire process will invite disqualification. No obscenities shall be tolerated.
