Liver involvement in hypereosinophlic syndromes are un- common and have mostly been reported to include veno-occlusive disease, chronic active hepatitis with piecemeal necrosis and cholestatic liver disease. Dis- crete liver mass or masses are exceedingly rare and has only been reported in two other case reports. We report such a case of a 52-year-old woman with hypereosinophilic syndrome presenting in the form of recurrent abdominal pain and liver masses. Biopsy of the liver masses showed marked eosinophlic infil- tration. There was complete resolution of the symp- toms and liver masses after treatment with prednisone.
