Setup Live Truck Tracking
Required:
Service Assistant
Routing Assistant
Mobile Live Subscription
Android OS 4.2.2 or better
3G/4G Data Plan
Setup Live Truck Tracking
Install:
Search for “realgreensystems”
and download/install the
“Live Truck Tracking”
application.
This is not a stand-alone app.
You will need Mobile Live to
run Live Truck Tracking.

Enable Location:
To allow the application to
track the user, you will need
to enable Location, and set
it to High Accuracy.

Easy Operation:
Once you have installed the
app, it will run in the
background. There is no
interaction necessary. It will
track whomever is logged
into Mobile Live on that
device.

Hours of Operation:
Next, you will need to have valid work day start
and end times set in Service Assistant.
You can edit this area by selecting Data,
Company Parameters, Company/Branch Setup.
Live Truck Tracking will only track within these
time parameters, so make sure you set them
accordingly!
Live Tracking and History Tracking
Reports in Service Assistant:
The “Live Truck Tracking” report will show you the latest
information from the Tracking application.
The “Mobile Device Technician Tracking Report” will show you
all information collected based on your search criteria.
The “Technician Routing Analysis” report will combine
information into a summary of activity for the users.
Using Live Truck Tracking
Setup:
When you open Live Truck Tracking, you will be shown
a map with some options on the left side. This is where
you will first choose who it is that you will be tracking.
You can do this by selecting the
settings cog in the upper left
corner. All of your active employees
will be available and color coded.

Technician Routing Analysis
What is it?
This report takes the data collected by the Mobile Live
and compiles it into a summary of time worked, time
idle, and distance travelled in a given day.
The Mobile Device must have functional GPS
throughout the day, or this report’s accuracy will be
proportionally reduced.

quick snapshot of these details at a glance:

Technician Routing Analysis
Field How is it calculated?
% Diff. from Plan Miles the difference between the drivers Actual Miles and the Planned Route.
Sched. Prod. Miles the distance calculated from Mapping Assistant for the scheduled stops.
Ideal Prod. Miles the distance calculated from Mapping Assistant for the completed work.
Actual Miles the distance actually driven for the completed work.
Max Speed the top speed recorded for the vehicle for that day.
Sched. Rev. the total for the invoices scheduled that day.
Prod. Rev. the total value of the completed work that day.
Scheduled/Produced Stops the scheduled and completed stops that day.
Scheduled/Produced S/C the scheduled and completed service call stops that day.
Avg Time At Stop the calculated average time per stop.
Avg Size the calculated average size per stop.
$/Hr Drive the Revenue generated per hour for the day.
Start/End GPS the 24HR time-stamp of when the day began, and when it ended.
Tot. Hrs GPS calculated from the Start/End GPS times.
Hrs Wrkd calculated from the Production Start/End Times.
Idle Truck Time calculated from the total idle time of the truck, minus the production time,
minus the drive time.
