Dear Members and Guests:

Welcome to The FAWCO Foundation’s premier fundraising event, fondly known as Foundation Night, which takes place each year during the annual FAWCO conference.

The FAWCO Foundation was created in 1967. We are a U.S. nonprofit corporation, registered in the State of Missouri as a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization. We support the philanthropic goals of FAWCO by developing, administering and fundraising for programs that improve the lives of women and children worldwide. We rely on the generosity of Member Clubs and individuals to maintain a strong and healthy philanthropic program.

This year, we are celebrating 50 years of giving. Our overall theme is “A Heart of Gold” because that describes the passion that members have shown to sustain and expand our programs for a half-century. I feel that the Butterfly Warrior “Learn-Reach-Shine” theme of this conference captures the glow of our hearts when we give.

Our Live Auction theme is Golden Memories. Our members and sponsors have donated a wonderful range of unique destinations; I hope that they will be your foundation for some very special memories and inspire you to reach into your pockets and help us achieve our fundraising goals for another year of giving.

If you cannot attend the Live Auction in Mumbai, this catalog is a way for you to bid in absentia. If a property piques your interest, simply write the Lot Number of the item that you wish to bid on including both a minimum AND maximum amount and send it to liveauction@fawcofoundation.org. The deadline for sealed bids is March 25, 2017. Your bid will be printed and sealed until the Live Auction begins. The Auctioneer will receive the sealed bids and open them when the item is on the block. I hope that this enables everyone to participate and join in the fun.
