Getting the most from your Home Care Package can be a challenge. We encourage you to call Bethanie on 131 151 anytime and speak to our friendly team, who will be happy to help you. When choosing Bethanie to be your Home Care Package provider you can be assured that we are committed to providing you with the highest quality care and services, so that you can live at home with confidence. To support you with getting the most from your package, Bethanie:

• Will not charge on-boarding fees. • Will not charge additional fees for the purchase of equipment or consumables. • Will not charge additional fees for brokering services from another provider. • Will not charge an exit fee.

Funding and Fees The level of funding you will receive from the government will vary depending on the level of Home Care Package you have been allocated. In addition to your funding from the government, you may be required to contribute to the cost of your care. This will vary from person to person and we will work with you to determine what works best for you. The following table shows the maximum fee you may have to contribute depending on your assigned care package level.

You may also be required to pay an Income-Tested Care fee, and this will be determined by the Government.

Package Management For Bethanie to manage your care package, a Package Management fee will be charged to cover our fixed costs. This enables our finance team to manage package funds and raise invoices and statements; our clinical governance team to deliver high quality care and meet government regulatory standards; and our procurement team to get you the best possible prices for the services, equipment and products. Care Management Bethanie is committed to delivering the highest quality services to you, working in partnership to achieve your goals. You will have access to a Care Manager (Case Manager) who will work with you to understand your needs and goals, liaise with the team supporting you, and will be your first point of contact whenever you need anything. The amount of Care Management you require will vary based on your personal needs and circumstances. There is also the option to self-manage your package. The following table shows the upfront fees you will have to contribute if you choose Bethanie to manage your package or if you choose to self-manage your package.

Care Management hours can be negotiated dependent on your circumstances.

Services The following table below shows the cost for services delivered by Bethanie. There is no minimum service duration and we do not operate time bands for service delivery – our service promise to you is to meet your preferred time for services. The cost is inclusive of direct and indirect labour costs, travel to your home, service administration and scheduling costs, together with corporate costs for information and technology, human resources and learning and development support.

Living Well Centres (previously known as Social Centres) Bethanie operates Living Well Centres across metropolitan Perth, Bunbury and Geraldton. These lively centres provide a range of therapeutic and social activities together with scheduled outings and are the ideal place to spend a day. The centres provide carers with much needed respite and clients with the opportunity to mix with friends whilst enjoying activities. The following table shows the cost of attending a Living Well Centre which is inclusive of bus transport but exclusive of meals (lunch), and the associated Allied Health and Therapy options.

Supported Travel Bethanie can support you with travel to appointments or to accompany you for social activities. When this occurs the supported travel costs will be billed at $1.00 per kilometre.
