Relax with us The West Shore has been refurbished to a very high standard, creating beautiful surroundings with a relaxed atmosphere. Our bedrooms offer multi-channel, flat-screen televisions, and tea- and coffee-making facilities.

We provide all amenities for wheelchair users. All bedrooms have fully accessible ensuite facilities with wheel-in showers. An emergency call system offers peace at mind as help is always at hand. Some bedrooms have a tracking hoist and profiling bed.

Wine and dine We have earned an enviable reputation for our substantial Welsh breakfast, which will set you up for a day of fun and exploration. As the evening approaches, you can enjoy a drink in the bar lounge before sampling the fine fare in our restaurant. After dinner, why not enjoy the entertainment, provided most evenings? Live entertainers, bingo and quiz nights will make your holiday special.

Take it easy If you don’t have your own transport or just fancy a break from driving, don’t worry - you won’t miss out. We have an accessible minibus with tail-lift and offer a number of excursions each week. The nearest mainline railway station is Llandudno Junction, with direct links to London, Manchester, Birmingham and Cardiff. Our accessible minibus service can meet you at the station for an easy transfer.

West Country The Promenade, Minehead, SomersetThe Promenade has been providing excellent, accessible holidays since we welcomed our first guests back in 1976. We take great pride in giving you the very best service. Nothing is too much trouble for our very friendly and helpful staff team.

The Promenade is beautifully situated on the seafront, with sweeping views across the bay. It’s an easy stroll to the harbour, with picturesque cottages along the way. Beautiful Blenheim Gardens is close by, with summer concerts at the traditional bandstand. We are open all year round, with eight fully accessible rooms and three top-floor rooms for carers or family members. We offer discounted winter breaks from November to the beginning of March, and a choice of themed breaks all year.

At The Promenade, you can start the day with a delicious full English breakfast. Lunches are served all day in the restaurant or in our beautiful conservatory, overlooking the garden and the bay. The bar is open all day, serving a selection of hot and cold drinks Our chefs cater for all dietary needs and will happily discuss any requirements with you before your visit.

At your service The Promenade has been thoughtfully designed to suit all guests. The main entrance has a covered, flat walkway with automatic doors. The car park is ramped to allow easy access through the conservatory into the building. All rooms are ensuite and accessible rooms have a wet-room. You can enjoy our hospitality trays and remote-controlled TV, and for your safety, all rooms are fitted with an emergency call system. Borrow a book from our well-stocked bookcase or relax with a DVD in the comfort of your room. Assistance dogs are welcome – please notify us when you make your booking.

Prime location The Promenade is situated on the Esplanade towards the harbour, away from the main bustle of the seafront. It enjoys a quiet location but is only a couple of minutes’ walk from any of the town’s many attractions. The nearest railway station is Taunton, where you will find accessible taxis and buses for easy transfer just outside the station entrance.

Lake District Nationwide Cottage, Ambleside, CumbriaThis charming bungalow is set in the heart of Cumbria close to Lake Windermere, England’s largest lake. It offers spectacular views of unspoilt countryside, so don’t forget to take your camera! You’ll be close to the pretty town of Ambleside, full of speciality shops, busy restaurants and inviting pubs.

This property provides an excellent base for touring the Lake District and discovering its fine attractions. Enjoy a boat trip with superb views from the water, or explore the Forest of the Lakes. And the area offers some fascinating galleries, churches and museums.

Broomhill, Wroxham, Norfolk BroadsA holiday on the Norfolk Broads offers a glimpse into a unique part of the English countryside. With quiet lakes and waterways, salt marshes and fens, there is something very special about this area. You’ll be staying in the peaceful village of Hoverton, less than ten miles from the Norfolk coast’s unspoilt beaches, seaside villages and quaint pubs. Should you want a change of tempo, the lively resort of Great Yarmouth is within easy reach. Also nearby is Cromer, a delightful Victorian resort famous for its delicious crab.

Your apartment sleeps sevenWe can offer two apartments at Broomhill, a modern building with communal gardens. Ground floor apartment is arranged as one bedroom with a double and single bed, one twin bedroom, one single and a sofa bed. First floor apartment has one bedroom with a double and single bed, one twin bedroom and one bedroom with bunk-beds. The spacious lounges are well-furnished, with a freeview TV and DVD player. East of England Groomhill, Clacton-on-Sea, EssexClacton offers all the attractions of a traditional seaside resort. With its delightful Victorian pier and amusements, seven miles of famous sandy beaches, as well as restaurants, bars and gift shops, there’s something for everyone. You’ll be spoiled for choice with theatre, crazy golf, aquarium, leisure centre, lifeboat station and formal gardens on the doorstep. And with a promenade that stretches from Frinton to Jaywick, you won’t run short of fresh air. One thing’s for sure - you’ll find plenty to entertain you at Clacton.

Your bungalow sleeps six Groomhill is in a quiet part of town, and is an ideal base from which to explore. It’s a home from home, with three twin bedrooms and a z-bed. The comfortably furnished lounge has a freeview TV and DVD player, plus a TV in the main bedroom. The fitted kitchen is equipped with oven, microwave, fridge freezer and a washer/dryer. Work surfaces are height-adjustable. The property has central heating and a payphone and there is driveway parking.

Farrell House, Bognor Regis, West SussexIf you like traditional seaside settings, beautiful beaches and plenty of sunshine, then why not consider Bognor Regis? This Victorian holiday resort offers a host of traditional attractions including a pier and promenade, as well as a theatre and museum. The beautiful beaches have also won the EU Blue Flag award in recognition of their cleanliness. And that’s not all, because Bognor claims to bask in more sun than anywhere else in the country!

You’ll find the town well-served with shops, cafés, restaurants and pubs. Or why not visit the Rose Green Centre of Art and Craft, or take a day trip to the Lurgashall Winery? And when you fancy some shopping, Bognor town centre is fully pedestrianised, with level terrain throughout the town.

Your house sleeps eightFarrell House is set in a quiet residential area, just eight minutes’ walk from the seafront and shops. The house sleeps eight, with an accessible single and twin bedroom on the ground floor and another twin and triple bedroom on the first floor. This property has a large open-plan lounge/dining area with TV and hi-fi. The adapted, fitted kitchen is equipped with oven, microwave, fridge freezer and washing machine. A tumble dryer is available in the garage.

To make the most of those long summer evenings, there is a ramp into the secluded leafy garden. Garage parking, central heating and a payphone make your stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. Bed linen not provided.

South Coast Beach Lodge, Felpham, West SussexBeach Lodge offers a breathtaking panoramic view over the coast, with miles of promenade close by. This property offers the best of both worlds: the house is situated on a private estate on the seafront, in a Sussex village; yet it’s also close to bustling Bognor Regis, with its theatre, cinema, shops, attractions and, of course, the pier. For even more to see and do, you’ll find Fishbourne Roman Palace, Arundel Castle, Arun Leisure Centre and Boxgrove Priory all nearby.

Beach Lodge is a large property adapted for wheelchair users, boasting glorious sea views from all front rooms. The house is suitable for larger groups, with three twin rooms, one double and one single. There is ramped access to this split-level property, with a lift to all levels.

Your house sleeps nine The living area is complete with TV, with freeview, DVD player and hi-fi. The fitted kitchen is equipped with oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Work surfaces are height-adjustable. Seagulls, Selsey, West SussexSeagulls offers magnificent views across the English Channel, and you are only a step from the scenic coastal walk, which runs past the property. Selsey is a popular summer holiday spot on the south coast, between Bognor Regis and Havant. Situated on a peninsula, it offers miles of sand and shingle beaches, with excellent bathing opportunities.

You can enjoy Selsey’s cafés, bars and shops and in the summer months, locals and visitors alike are entertained by traditional fêtes and carnivals. Selsey’s fishing fleet means you’ll often find stalls selling delicious, fresh seafood. Other attractions include Pagham Harbour nature reserve, West Sands swimming pool and Selsey Windmill. You can make the short drive to Bognor Regis or Hayling Island for a great day out.

Your bungalow sleeps sixThis bungalow has three twin bedrooms, two with a spectacular sea view. You’ll find a comfortable lounge with a freeview TV and DVD player. South Coast Tamarisk, Bracklesham Bay, Chichester, West SussexBracklesham Bay provides fabulous views across the Solent towards the Isle of Wight and is just six miles south of historic Chichester. The coastline boasts isolated havens and beauty spots and is an ideal setting for a relaxing holiday.

Close by is Pagham Harbour’s nature reserve, a birdspotter’s paradise – so bring your binoculars! When you’d like to take in a larger resort, Bognor Regis is an easy drive, as is Hayling Island – or visit Portsmouth and take the ferry to the Isle of Wight.

Your bungalow sleeps five Tamarisk is only a few minutes’ walk from the sea. It can sleep up to six people, with two twin bedrooms, one of which is ensuite, and a single room and z-bed. Anchor House, Weymouth, DorsetWeymouth, with its Georgian seafront overlooking an award-winning sandy beach, is set in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This picturesque seaside town has everything to make a truly delightful holiday, with plenty to see and do. With attractions like the spectacular new Grand Pier, Sea Life Park, Portland Castle, RSPB Lodmoor Nature Reserve and the Brewers Quay complex, you’ll be spoilt for choice.

The town provides first-class facilities for disabled people. The entire town centre is wheelchair friendly, with ramps to the beach and free beach wheelchair attachments available in the summer season – but book ahead! There is also a land train during the summer season, with ramp access to the rear carriage.

Your house sleeps ten Anchor House is a semi-detached Victorian house, specially converted whilst retaining its period character. In a quiet location close to the promenade and town centre, it is ideally equipped for wheelchair access. It sleeps ten people with one double, three twin and two single rooms. Four of the bedrooms and two shower rooms are accessible for wheelchair users. In addition, the property has a mobile hoist and a self-propelled shower chair.

Relax in the comfortable living area with freeview TV and DVD player or enjoy the spacious garden. The fully-fitted kitchen with oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine has been adapted to provide adjustable services. A tumble dryer is available in the garage. Full central heating and a payphone are installed and there is off-road parking. Bed linen is not provided.

South West Villa Ryall, Worle, Weston-super-Mare, SomersetThis newly adapted bungalow is set in its own garden and close to amenities. Weston-super-Mare boasts a brand-new pier, as well as an amusement park and miles of sandy beaches. With museums and National Trust properties nearby, you certainly won’t go short of things to do. The village of Worle, mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086, is just three miles from Weston.

Your bungalow sleeps sevenThe property has four bedrooms, with two twin rooms at ground level, and a twin and a single room with z-bed on the dormer-style first floor. The large lounge/dining area with a freeview TV and DVD player has French doors opening to a decked terrace and spacious garden. There is an accessible kitchen with microwave, oven, fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. Bed linen is not provided.

Livability Holidays services and facilities are available to disabled people, their families, friends and carers, and any bona fide voluntary, statutory, or charitable organisation or trust serving disabled people. 1. Definitions ‘Livability Holidays’ means Livability and includes any reference to any other name used by Livability Holidays for the provision of holiday facilities. ‘The Applicant’ means the person or group completing and signing the relevant forms. ‘The User’ means the members of the group or family on behalf of whom the Applicant is completing the relevant forms.

2. Bookings a) A provisional booking will be held available for

confirmation for a maximum of 14 days from receipt of application. However, no guarantee of continuing availability is made by Livability Holidays in respect of a provisional booking.

b) A provisional booking shall be confirmed upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit or booking fee of £50 per person (£50 per booking for self catering holidays) and 25% of the full amount for group bookings, from the Applicant. All tariffs include VAT and the booking fee. The booking is then confirmed by letter and becomes subject to the provisions set out below. A booking is made on the condition that should Livability be prevented

from honouring it due to circumstances outside their control, they shall endeavour but not be liable to provide alternative accommodation; if they fail to do so ALL PAYMENTS shall be returned in full including the booking fee and neither party shall have any further claim against the other.

c) The balance of the cost of the holiday is to be paid 56 days prior to the holiday. The Applicant not only guarantees the payment, but does so, on behalf of the User who is liable to make the payment. Livability Holidays reserves the right to treat the booking as cancelled if the full balance is not received at least 56 days before your holiday. Both the Applicant/ User will be liable to pay the final invoice.

d) If your holiday is being paid for by a sponsorship authority ie Local Authority, Trust or another third party, please ensure that payment arrives at the relevant hotel or self catering office at least 56 days before your holiday begins to avoid the problems of cancellation and liability referred to in e) above. However, the Applicant and the User still remain liable for the payment.

3. Cancellation a) In the event that the Applicant or the User cancels the

booking prior to the date of the holiday, the Applicant shall pay cancellation charges at the following rates in respect of all bookings made:

• Less than 14 days prior to the first day of holiday -

Deposit If the accommodation and date you require are available, we issue you with a provisional confirmation of your booking. You will be sent a booking form with a request for a deposit or booking fee.

Payment of balance Full payment is required eight weeks before the start of your holiday. We issue you with an invoice for the balance of your holiday. If we do not receive full payment within eight weeks, your holiday may be cancelled.

for wheelchair users. We make every effort to ensure that the places of interest we mention are wheelchair accessible. However, to avoid disappointment, please check in advance.

Holiday finance By law, including most recently the Care Standards Act, any disabled person or family where there is a disabled person is entitled to approach their local social services department for financial assistance for taking a holiday. Some other organisations will also sometimes consider providing financial help. Other organisations that may be able to provide information are Tourism For All and RADAR. We strongly recommend you take out holiday insurance.

Guide to booking your holiday

Terms & Conditions Please read the terms and conditions very carefully.

100% of holiday cost. • Less than 21 days prior to the first day of holiday -

75% of holiday cost. • Less than 42 days prior to the first day of holiday -

50% of holiday cost. Notification of cancellation must be confirmed in writing and for the purpose of calculating the period of notice as aforesaid, actual receipt of the written notice by Livability is required. Medical evidence may be required for cancellations caused by illness.

b) Livability Holidays reserves the right to cancel or change a booking at any time without being liable for the loss to the Applicant or the User and without obligation to give reason.

4. Holiday prices Once you have received confirmation of your holiday

booking, Livability Holidays will do all in its power to ensure your reservation will be maintained. It may however be necessary for a surcharge to be placed on certain holiday periods.

5. Breakages Guests must ensure that the property is left in a

similar condition as found. All damage, loss and breakages of furniture, fixtures, fittings, equipment, premises, household or other items are the Applicant’s responsibility. The Applicant and the User shall be liable to pay for such damage, loss and breakages upon demand.

6. Brochure accuracy Livability Holidays has made every effort to ensure the

accuracy of matters set out in its promotional literature. However, from time to time facilities require renovation or improvements and as such, certain facilities may not be available all year round, or may become unavailable for reasons beyond the control of Livability Holidays. Where possible any such changes will be notified prior to the start of your holiday but in any event will not be a reason for Livability Holidays to reduce the cost of the holiday. Livability Holidays accepts no liability for the accuracy or otherwise of any statement made in any of the Livability Holidays promotional literature.

7. Special requests Any requests or requirements the User may have must be

made in writing. Livability Holidays regrets that they can only accept Assistance Dogs. However, please ensure that you have notified Livability Holidays in advance if an Assistance Dog is to accompany you.

8. Liability No responsibility is accepted by Livability Holidays for

any of the following and whether or not defect or danger giving rise to the loss or damage existed at the time the booking was confirmed and whether or not it was known to Livability Holidays or should have been known to Livability Holidays at any time. Nothing in these terms and conditions limits or excludes the liability of Livability Holidays to the Applicant or the User:

a) for death or personal injury resulting from our or our employee negligence; or

i) for any damage or liability incurred as a result of fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation by Livability Holidays.

b) Subject to the above i) whilst Livability Holidays take all reasonable steps

to ensure properties are suitable for the User, we cannot make any guarantee in this respect. It is the responsibility of the appropriate User, or where appropriate the Applicant on behalf of the User, to satisfy themselves as to the accessibility and suitability of the facilities.

ii) all other warranties, conditions and other terms implied by statute or common law are, to the fullest extent permitted by law, excluded; and

iii) Livability shall not be liable, whether in tort, contract, misrepresentation or otherwise for loss of profits, loss of business, depletion of goodwill and/or similar losses, loss of anticipated savings, loss of goods, loss of contract, loss of use, loss of corruption of data or information, any special, indirect, consequential or pure economic loss, costs, damages, charges or expenses.

9. Guests Livability Holidays undertakes to do their utmost to

ensure that all guests enjoy their holiday with us. Livability Holidays regrets that it is unable to accept applications from guests whose behaviour is likely to cause a disturbance or otherwise spoil the holidays of other guests.

10. Additional costs Livability Holidays reserves the right to impose further
