President’s Message
I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year ! Those of you who attended the Snow Ball on the 20th seemed to really enjoy the evening despite the rain, and the band provided us with great dance music once again. Event chairman Karen VanBokhoven and her committee provided a wonderful evening for all to enjoy ! Many thanks ! Our first ski trip to Keystone will be off on Jan. 5th and be back on the 12th in time for the next meeting on Jan. 14th, and the Telluride trip will leave on Feb. 1st and be back on the 8th in time for our Feb. 11th meeting, so I hope all of the skiers will come to the meetings to share their stories with everyone about their great skiing and all of the other fun stuff. A Super Bowl watch party is planned for Feb. 2nd. Karen & Mike VanBokhoven will host at their condo party room at Mountain Terrace Estates clubhouse. Please see page 6 for important sign up info. Start planning to sign up for the Day at the Races , March,22 and look for more information to come. We are planning another Buffalo Float Trip on May 16 & 17th. Linda Frisbee will again be the leader. As always, guests are welcome to visit up to two club meetings per year, so bring a friend and sign them up and we will see you on Jan, 14th ! Please continue to tell the bartender that you are with the Ski Club each time you order anything from the bar. Winter is here, so “Think Snow” (for the ski areas) Mike Graves, President
