dumping. This

picture was taken on

Bellot Road

This was a sign for

the measurement

taken by B.E.C. to

prevent dumping in

this area on Firetrail

Road.

This picture shows

the debris of a

Shanty Town and it is

Along with illegal

dumping, these bags

were not properly

disposed of leading

to the bags to be

counted as litter.

Road

Going on with the

illegal dumping. You

can see here that

there is litter also.

Further along

Cowpen Road people

dump other

substances such as

old tvs, boxes,

furniture and other

old substances.

Wooden crates are

also dumped along

Cowpen

More debris on the

site of the dumping.

Sometimes car parts

are dumped along

with other materials.

Matresses are also

dumped. In certain

cases they can fall off

trucks and cars.

These rot away if

they are not taken

up.

These conch shells

were dumped and

they could’ve been

recycled and used as

décor or some other

things.

This picture shos a

garbage that is not

secure and this can

cause litter because

animals can move

the garbage through

the area.

This is another

measure that was

taken to prevent

dumping in the area

of Cowpen Road, but

people do not adhere

to it.

In the area of the

sign that was just

shown. The area is

filled with garbage.

This truck was

abandoned and it is

now falling apart and

this counts as

dumping. Photo

This company helps

with landscape

maintenance along

with Bahamas Waste.

They deal with

garbage on a small

scale and not mainly

like Bahamas Waste

does.
