A New Numeration SystemEach weight is assigned its own three-digit number.The first digit A defines the weight, the second B defines thewidth and the last C the position.
The perfectly coordinated makeup of the typeface family andthe three-digit numeration system of the weight designationsdistinguishes the new Linotype Univers from the old Univers.Clear distinguishing features also give the typeface greatertransparency in type applications.
