• ICAO Gender Equality Programme includes the

establishment of gender indicators through the collection of statistics as provided as a voluntary bases from States

• ICAO is consulting with ILO, UNESCO and UN Women on this new statistical form

• Data collected will be disseminated through an online platform

Calls for action

In support of Resolution A39-30, ICAO Gender Equality Programme Promoting the Participation of Women in the Global Aviation Sector and its commitment to enhancing gender equality by 2030, ICAO and its Member States, together with international aviation partners representing industry, will work together in the development and collection of gender related data. Designed for transparency, a common platform would be developed that includes goals, targets and indicators. The data would be collected on a voluntary basis and shared with all stakeholders.
