Want to save the environment and help cut down on the number of plastic bags going to the landfill? The Friends of
the Library are selling cloth book bags imprinted with their name and logo for $5.00 each. They are available from
the Friends of the Library or at the Library.
Friends of the Library will be holding their Fall Used Book Sale Friday, October 17th from 1:00—4:30 and Saturday, October 18th from
9:30-3:00. They will be holding their Used Jigsaw Puzzle and A/V Sale Saturday, November 15th from 9:30-1:00.

The TD Summer Reading Club is back! Kids can
improve their reading skills while having fun and
earning great rewards. This year's theme is Eureka.
Who Can Participate?
Everyone in Moose Jaw and area who will be in Grade
7 in September or younger. Even if children cannot
read on their own yet, they can still participate!
How to Join?
Simply come to the library anytime between June 17
and August 19 and ask to be signed up.
Membership is Free!!!
TD Club Rules
Rule #1: Summer Reading Club focuses on children
ages 12 and under
Rule #2: Last day to return reading logs and activity
sheets is August 19.

Reading Rewards
All Reading Club members receive a poster and a reading log, simply
for signing up!
Independent Readers: Kids who are reading on their own will receive
a Reading Log where they can keep track of how much they read. For
every Reading Log completed and returned to the library club
members will have their names added to our Wall of Fame! They can
also enter their name into the prize draw every time they return a log.
We'll be drawing for great prizes all summer!
Pre-Readers: Babies, preschoolers, kindergartners and anyone else
who isn't reading on their own yet will receive a special activity sheet.
On this sheet is a list of early literacy activities that parents or
caregivers can do with their child, including reading to them. Every time
you complete an activity sheet, you can have your child's name added
to our Wall of Fame, and enter our draw for a chance to win some great
prizes!
