Types of Lighting Key - This highlights the edge of the object and gives in more focused. Fill- This lessons the contras and shadows around the subject to soften the edges. You can also have natural lighting (no lamps are used to lighten effect subject) and artificial (lamps are used)

Key- This highlights the edge of the object and gives in more focused.

Fill- This lessons the contras and shadows around the subject to soften the edges.

You can also have natural lighting (no lamps are used to lighten effect subject) and artificial (lamps are used)

Page 2: Lighting

Back- Light is placed behind the object. This means that you see the outline of the object but you can see clearly the background/environment.

High Key- reduces the amount of contras and ups a high amount of light on the objects to the point were you can just make out the lines on their face. This creates a happy emotion.

Page 3: Lighting

Chiaroscuro- High contras of light and dark. creates drama to the image.

Three-point lighting

Indoor flash techniques- This is using the flash on your camera to highlight you subject in the image.
