CONGRESS

The World of Photonics Congress is the leading European technical congress and gathering

for the international scientifi c elite. For 65% of all exhibitors at the fair, congress

participants are an important target group, and 44% stated that they mainly want to

address visitors from colleges and universities with their exhibit.

Application-oriented conference within the World of Photonics Congress,

organized by the OSA—The Optical Society and SPIE.

The ECBO has since developed into the largest European event for scientists,

researchers, engineers and physicians who specialize in photonics applications

in medicine and the life sciences. Everything from basic research and the

development of medical equipment to concrete application examples in all
