Please do not think I am or was smearing Fathers name. I was onlypassing on information from a source that is considered "reliable" in themainstream church and attempting to explain some inner workings andbeliefs for non-Catholics. Halfway down regarding EWTN

After undergoing a stressfull time with the "Modernization" of a localchurch building (ie: my old parish )that reopened this Christmas day(after half the families left) I can let you know I am very close to the"far right" myself.

I missed the Doran interview and I hope someone will share.-hint hint.

I'm finally getting around to listening to the Brian Doran interview.

There is one point where they are talking about Fr Malachi being achaplain.

I don't have any facts, but on one interview with Art Bell, the subjectwas celebacy. Art made his usual comments along the lines of "how canit be heaven without sex".

Fr Malachi began to explain how the celebacy of a priest gave them afreedom, since they belong to no one. He talked about how servicemencould talk to him about things they could never tell the Protestantchaplain. I think he even talked about a plane ride that was an "eighteenbeer trip".

So, if he wasn't a chaplain, he did have something to do with theservice.

Tom, interesting that the word "chaplain" and"servicemen" would come up, within the context of the interview. Irecall, in that recent C2C broadcast/interview conducted by IanPunnet(sp?)a couple of weeks go(Messenger from God?), theguest/author doubted that Fr. Malachi had been a chaplain forservicemen. Further, I believe 2 callers indicated that Fr. Malachi hadmade references (in a letter to callers)to being a chaplain for servicemenin Turkey. The author was rather hasty in casting doubt at this caller'sstatement. I seem to recall that Fr. Malachi was assigned toTurkey/Anatolia region, to conduct research. The time period waspresumably after 1954. I felt the author should have done moreresearch on this issue.

Frankly, I found your research and familiarity with a number of facts andissues (having listened to many Fr. Martin interviews conducted by ArtBell and others) to be superior, and with a greater depth of analysis. Iknow I am a tough critic, but the Punnet guest/author seemed to be onunfamiliar territory.

Although the author conducted interviews with colleagues, friends andfamily; and transcribed interviews conducted by his father, thereseemed to be voids in his research. I am more impressed with yourwork, and your willingness to read and evaluate a number of sources.

Great news! I found remembered site that specializes in out-of-printbooks. If you go to http://www.abe.com and enter Malachi Martin in thesearch engine, you'll find all of his books on sale, including his oldest,and most importantly, including "Hostage to the Devil." Some of theolder ones are a bit pricey, but the later ones are really quitereasonable.

Just thought you'd all like to know. You'll want to bookmark thissite...they act as a clearing house for hundreds of bookstores, so if youorder a book, you have to go to the individual seller. Some do not takecredit cards, but they're all very reliable. A couple of years ago, I boughta copy of Whitley Strieber's and James Kunetka's "Nature's End," still ina wrapper, hard cover for only $10!

I just posted this on another thread, but I wanted to put it here,because I refer to Fr. Malachi Martin. Art is speaking on SW tonightabout it, speculating what will happen if/when the power shortage getsworse. And they are discussing expecting blackouts today and in thefollowing times. Here's what I posted:

I do not know the facts about the so-called power shortages, Ideliberately have not followed it. My gut feeling tells me there is nopower shortage, but a lot of very greedy people who are making bigbucks off of this.

For about a year, I have been trying to get tapes of the first 2 showsFather Malachi Martin did. (They weren't available in the archives...theywere lost in some computer problem, so the website said.)

The reason I wanted them, is because I heard just part of a rerun aboutone year ago. I think a caller asked Fr. Martin about circumstances thatthe anti-christ would come into power. Whatever it was, Fr. Martin saidsomething like...imagine if there was no electricity, and otherthings...only I can't recall exactly what he said. At the time, I thoughtperhaps it would be a situation with Y2K. Remember, this was aninterview from probably 1996, or whenever his first visit was on Art'sshow (can't remember when), but I heard it over a year ago.

Also, about one year ago or more, Art had this guy on who was workingwith some kind of invention that people would put on the top of theirhouse, like an airconditioner, and it would make the house completely



energy self-sufficient.

When he was on, Art made a comment about how he should be careful,with the information he had. The guy said all kinds of things were in theworking. I have never heard anything about the guy sense, but shortlyafter, I know lots of things were happening with people aroundArt...people having heart attacks, like RC and others.

It probably isn't associated in any way, but hey, you never know. Thereare just so many people on the show talking about incredible issues andif a lot of them are true, then there's really lots of stuff going on wedon't know anything about.

So I wonder what's going to happen with these power issues. I have afeeling it's going to lead to bigger things. I can only imagine what. Ithink I'll pass on that one.

Thinking about the anti-christ, he will arise at a time of crisis. I wonderwhat that crisis will be?

One thing...I know it all turns out good in the end...Read Revelations!

Luckily I did tape Art Bell interviews with Fr Malachi and hopefully willget all of them transfered to a single VCR tape. I do need to get themout and relisten to them in their entirety. NO I will not sell them, or dubthem off. Someone said it was illegal to do that, therefore I will not doso. I can however, transcribe them - slow process or at least find someof the better quotes to answer questions. THAT will have to wait til I getback from vacation! Or maybe we can suggest to Art to have hisarchivist do this..probably a lot easier than doing so for the averageperson.

everaftergirl, if I remember correctly, the interview dealt with Y2K, andFr Malachi was telling Art about a time when he was shopping in theemporium near his house when the lights went out.

Art was describing some movie where the power went out and whathappened after.

Fr Malachi's comment was how everyone in the store stood absolutelystill, not knowing what to do. He suspected something similar to happenwith Y2K, and we would all be sitting there, not knowing what to do.

Thanks TomG, I would appreciate that. But the segment I'm speaking ofdeals with a specific question about the anti-christ and the last days. Fr.Martin answered very directly about it. It had nothing to do withY2K...but when it was replayed on Art's show, right before Art left, itmade me think about it. However, it was unrelated and that's whatintrigued me about it, knowing Fr. Martin had read the 3rd secret.Perhaps it was his second visit on the show, not the first.

My Malachi Martin tapes came today! We are having a major snow stormand for once the mail lady shut the box tight so the package didn't getwet. I just hope I can listen to them all before the lights go out.

I have my Bay-Gen radio ready in case there is a problem when Artcomes one, but it doesn't play tapes.

I am knitting my grand-daughter's Barbie doll a skirt as I listen. It isbasic black.

Hi all -

Wondering if anyone here can tell me what Fr. Martin's postion onaliens and alien contact is. I know the Vatican has a large observatoryin the south western US - Arizona? What is it the Vatican is looking forout there in the universe? Comets - asteroids?

Linnea, Art did go into this once with Fr Malachi. He had a caller tryingto corner Fr Malachi on the caller's belief that the universe was"teeming with intelligent life", a point Fr Malachi was unwilling toconcede.

After a couple of minutes of this back and forth, Art stepped in andasked Fr a simple question on if life was found.

Fr Malachi said it would simply confirm his belief in an omnipotentGod, and even more wonder at His works.

Now -back to the question of why the Vatican has a powerfulobservatory in the high desert. Why the interest, by the Church, inobserving the cosmoverse?

Also - if Fr Martin would entertain the possibility of life - sentient life -existing elsewhere in the universe - then obviously Fr Martin does notsubscribe to a strict constructionist view of the origins of life.

Where would one look to find any theological essays - positions of theChurch on the origins of life - that perhaps Fr Martin was aware of?

Linnea, you know Art always brought up how the Vatican muscled itsway onto Mt Graham in AZ, whenever he spoke with Fr Malachi.

What has stuck in my mind, when they were also discussing the thirdsecret, was Fr Malachi saying the Holy See was watching the skies fora specific, confirming, event, and then they "would know what to do".At the time, Fr Malachi was also expecting a sign in the skies. So theyare looking for something out there, but I expect it is more a physicalevent, not an ET visitation.

(I am reposting this on the Father Malachi Martin thread, because it isrelated.)

Listening to the subject of the deregulation of energy...there issomething I feel is extremely sinister here. California leads in whathappens to the country, and I really think that there are going to besome very difficult times ahead related to this subject, so get readyfolks.

My gas bill (like everyone else's) has tripled. I have gone without heat(which has brought on arthritis due to the cold), and have beenexpecting the electric portion of my bill to double, which today'sheadlines have now confirmed.

Ultimately, people are going to have to go without needed electricityand gas. The bills are SOOOO high, there is no other answer. We aremost definitely living in the "Last Days" folks. Get ready!...here itcomes! This is for real!

BTW, does anyone remember Father Malachi Martin's 1st or 2nd visiton C2C? Someone asked him the conditions of the world when theanti-christ comes into power, and he mentioned something aboutpeople not having gas and electricity, among other things. Doesanyone have this tape or remember this?

I need the tapes from 10-18-96(this is the most important one),4-4-97, 7-11-97 and 12-3-97. The 10-18-97 was not available in thearchives before Art left. When I inquired about it, I was told that therehad been a computer problem during that time, and it was notavailable in the archives due to that. The only reason I heard it, wasbecause just before Art retired, they replayed the program on the air,but I caught it late and didn't hear it all.

If anyone can help me out here, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks...

Here's some salt for your wounds, you folks in California:I predict:Due to cut backs in power used/purchased by all of you turning downthe heat, not using air conditioning, etc etc, you will be notified thatthe power companies are loosing revenue and will there fore have toraise prices!! It happened to me in the mid 1970's during that "power crunch"

It's so bad here in SCE territory that we only run the computer duringthe day and two 75 watt light bulbs plus computer at night...add ourwater heater, small fridge and 4 minutes of microwaving a night andwe have 30 percent above baseline...no where else to save!

I don't know what to do when it's time to turn on the fan!

Then I cross the street to the church our 'modernist' priest just redid(loosing 1/3 of the active congregation). He's running a wave makerin the baptismal font during the weekday!

Hi Squareball , That's just it, I am totally NOT kidding. FatherMartin said that. I have got the tape from 11/15/96 and that's not theone. That's when Ed Dames was on with Fr. Martin.

I will have to use the process of elimination to find the night Fr. Martinmade this comment in response to a caller. I distinctly remember it,because there was all the talk about Y2K and it was coming up. C2Cplayed a repeat of this show, and I only caught a little bit of it, but Iwas wondering if that might have been related. Anyway, that's thereason it stuck in my mind.

I really want to get the other tapes. It was one of his early visits onthe show. I heard the ones he did in the last two years (or so) of hislife.

In light of this energy crisis (and you can bet this is just thebeginning), I'm especially wanting to find this information. And thefact that the 3rd prophecy was never revealed...at least not the realprophecy.

I have searched my memoryand every thing I have and this fax from a listener and Fr Malachi'sresponse is all I can find on the possibility of cannabalism. I still don'tgive any credibility to Ed Dames..he has no credibility IMHO and doesa disservice to RV'ers.

Father Martin never mentioned cannabilism, however, Art is rightabout what Fr. Martin said about the 3rd Prophecy (I heard Fr. Martinsay it). Something like, if you can imagine the very worst, it iseven worse than that.

Now referring to the part of the transcript you posted...quote:

My guess is that it could mean people would resort to cannabilismbecause there is no food, however the part about..."until all thepeoples who do not believe in God are dead. It is not so far-fetched. Look what happened with the Donner(sp?)party, and also an airplane that crashed somewhere in the snow (can'tremember name of the movie, true story). They were decent peoplethat had no food and resorted to this means to sustain themselves. (Iwouldn't under any circumstance...)

About the Last Days, Revelations states there never was such aterrible time, nor ever will be again, as the last 7-year GreatTribulation period.

As much as I don't want this to be true, I must look at the possibility,for Fr. Martin knew something horrible was held in the future and hewould not speak of it. It was truly terrible. In addition, look at thetimes we are living in and all the violence that goes on everyday. Ifwe lose our food supply, I have no doubts that people would resort tothis, unfortunately. I will tell you all why I'm not worried about this.

When Moses led the Hebrews out of Egypt, they wandered in thedesert for 40 years (after they disobeyed God and made the falseidol)...anyway, during the 40 years, God loved them so much He fedthem manna from Heaven, He gave them water from a rock, and theirclothes never wore out for 40 years.

The Bible says that God is the same, yesterday, today and tomorrow.And if we are still here (and not yet raptured) during these times, Iknow God will supply our needs. He takes care of my needsEVERYDAY. I'm not just saying it, I live it, truly.

Yesterday, a window slammed on both of my hands, on my knuckles.(At the moment it happened, I thought, oh no...my fingers may bebroken and I won't be able to type.) They were caught in betweenboth windows, and I wondered how I would get help, as I was stuck.Suddenly, the window just let up, and I was free.

My fingers were in intense pain! But, afterwards I could move them,even though it was excruciating (sp?). The knuckles even looked likethey were bruised and blue. I praised and thanked God for protectingme. Today, my knuckles and fingers are fine. There is a small bruiseabout 1/4" X 1/16" on one knuckle.

Now I can tell you this was the Divine intervention of God. I often getsevere injuries from lifting a small grocery bag, or carrying something,



moving something, etc. I have fibromyalgia, and get injuries oftenjust from simple things...have to use crutches or wear splints orbraces...but nothing this time.

So if we have really hard times, I will turn to the Lord and haveFAITH, and He will provide food and water, just like He takes care ofthe rest of my needs. So, have Faith, and do not fear!

EverAfter-That doesn't sound like FMS! I have FMS but also have EDS(Ehlers-Danlos syndrome) -which does cause injuries and can go handin hand with FMS....Have you looked into this?

Hi Disney,

I have CFIDS (Chronic Fatigue Immune Deficiency Syndrome) andFibromyalgia comes with it. It is very progressed, because it wentundiagnosed for so many years.

I've lived in No. Calif. for 4 yrs., and the mold and cold have made myhealth worse, so I had to take prednisone/steriods often...can't standthe stuff. But I am moving in 3 weeks back to warm So. Calif. to getwell.

I also got Dr. Lorraine Day's video and am going on that diet. Ibelieve it may even cure me if I can follow it to the T.

I'm not familiar with your condition, but I know my diagnosis iscorrect. The doctor's never figured it out, but I did. And then they didextensive testing...and this is what I have. Thanks for the thoughts.

What is yours like?

My FMS is fairy severe as I have pushed my body a lot when I wasgrowing. I am exhaused and rarely get a good nights sleep. I havearthritis in all my major joints.

I also have EDS which is a syndrome in which my collegen isn't madecorrectly. That is really tough on all my joints, and leads to severebleeding episodes for me as well...somedays it is just too hard to evenuse my fingers on the keyboard.

Of course, it doesn't help that while I was still in my teens I was forcinga lot of weight on my joints. I'm fine framed and we didn't know I hadweek joints so I was landing triple lutzes with very little warm-up.Imagine going backwards in a circle. Stop hard with your toe forcing youto start turning in the opposite direction -in the air-and landing on thattoe. That was my favorite jump :-P Plus I did a lot of pointe work-aboutan hour a day 6 days a week. Now at 31 I am paying for it bigtime....and if I do the wrong thing on the wrong day I still get a badbleed....which can take weeks to stop in a joint causing more arthritis.

Sorry for going on like this....I love it here in Southern CA. I hope youenjoy it as well. I live near the ocean....I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Our deceased loved ones can visit us in our dreams. This happens to meoften, not by everyone I knew, but from some. And I can never havethese dreams "at will". I have no control over whether or not a lovedone visits me in my dreams.

Father Martin commented on visitations from ghosts...(10-18-96)

Art asked Father Malachi Martin about ghosts..."Genuine ghosts arevisitations by people already dead who are allowed by God to visit theliving for some reason or other. Usually known to the person visited, butnot admitted by them, until they wake up."

This has been happening to me for many years. I'm just so happy FatherMartin commented on it. I have posted a thread under Paranormal aboutthis.

I really enjoyed Art replaying the first visit of Father Malachi Martin. I'vealso heard the second one with Major Ed Dames.

I hope Art replays the 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc., visits with Father Martin. Nowthat will be exciting...!

Yes, thank you, we are aware of the tapes being available. If you goback to when you first click on the Father Malachi Martin thread, in theupper right, there is a little rectangle that defaults to show topics from45 days; if you click there, you can choose to see topics from the pastyear. If you do so and read them, you will see that those of us who postin this thread, collectively, have most everything relating to FrMartin...books, tapes..whatever.
