Which device?

It doesn't matter whether you're using an iPhone or an Android device, so long as you have a smartphone with an active account in the applicable app store:

The majority of the apps you'll see here are free but may require in-app purchase.

When travelling internationally, most phone networks charge excessive fees for data usage. Be sure that you understand the cost of data on your network.

Liberty Travel encourage you to speak with your service provider in advance to learn more about fees and activating or de-activating Global Data Roaming.

Without global roaming activated with your service provider you may not be able to use your phone at all to make calls or send/receive messages. You may also need to find out how to enable/disable this option on your device.

Finally, download all your apps, maps and resources before you hit the road. You don't want a phone bill that costs more than your vacation!
