Saying “Hello!” to a new Style

Guide is always very exciting and

always creates a lot of buzz. Some

of the activities I do to prepare for

the new season include mailing

a new Style Guide to my past

Hostesses and VIP Customers with

a handwritten note saying, ‘Thank

you for being a loyal Customer.

Please enjoy our latest Style

Guide and let me spoil you with

discounted and FREE lia sophia

jewelry. I would love to get your

feed back on our new collection

– I’ll be in touch next week!’ I have

been doing this consistently for

the past two years and usually

book eight to 15 parties as a result.

I have Customers that look forward

to my mailings.

To become familiar with the new

Style Guide, I schedule a happy

hour mixer with my team and

use it as a training opportunity

to make the transition to the

new Style Guide. Becoming

familiar with the layout helps with

upselling. This allows us to come

together, play with the jewelry and

get creative with different ways to

wear it.

Using social media is a great way

to spark interest and book parties

because we can use so many

visual tools. I love sharing pictures

of my Hostesses and Customers

wearing our jewelry and their

experiences with it.

I am crazy about the infinitme™

collection! It’s something very

fresh, creative and like nothing else

out there. I think this collection is

a great recruiting tool. At all my

parties, I will watch for the gals

who really get the concept of the

collection, show excitement and

who help other Guests with their

creations – those are signs of your

next recruit.

CANCEL-PROOFYOUR PARTY CALENDAR

Being friendly and flexible is

important to establish good

rapport with your Hostess.

However,

try not let

a potential

Hostess

leave the

party

without

penciling

in a date.

You can say,

“No date

is ever perfect for everyone, but

let’s pencil in a tentative date

that works for the both of us. You

can check the date with the key

people you want to invite and I’ll

call you tomorrow to see if that

date still works for you.”

Now that a date has been

established, keeping in touch with

your Hostess is very important to

continue building the relationship

you began back at the party

where you met. It also shows

you are

committed

to her party

and her

experience

as your

Hostess.

Today, there

are a myriad

of ways

to reach

someone in an instant. Ask her

how she would prefer for you to

contact her, but make sure you

have her phone number as you

may need to call her briefly a few

times – it’s also the best way to

share your enthusiasm for her

upcoming party. The more you

stay connected, the less likely she

will cancel.

It’s no secret, strong Hostess Coaching is the key to cancel-

proofing your party calendar. To help your Hostess have a

successful party and keep her excitement going, a lot depends

on you staying connected with her before her party and how

well you have formed a relationship with her from the moment

• Remind her of the monthly

• Look at her Wish List and explain

how she can earn it all.

What inspired you to begin your lia sophia business? I would have to say the top three

things that inspired me to begin

my lia sophia business was the

immediate flexibility it gave me to

work around my own schedule. It

also gave me the opportunity to

earn extra income for my family

and do the things we want as

my children grow, and the love

and support from my upline

Leader, Heather Dages. She has a

constant joy in her that radiates at

her parties. It lifts up everyone

in the room and inspires women

to feel and look beautiful, and to

believe in their dreams. I knew

that I wanted to do that as well

and be on her team.
