ABOUT USL&I Detailing has become a forerunner in the detailing scene from Manhattan to Montauk as well as working the largest boat shows on the east coast. Its through hard work and dedication that our trained staff at L&I Detailing have been able to obtain such great and consistent results with projects of all sizes and condition. In addition to unparalleled buff jobs, our customer service is second to none.

L&I Detailing is owned and operated by Austin Frye a lifetime boater and Long Island native.

• Unlike other detailers we utilize the least aggressive method possible to achieve a resilient shine and prolong the need for a repaint.

BUFFING & WAXING SERVICE

• Single stage compounding or polishing

• We offer a variety of teak services designed to fit every owners preferences ranging from mild cleaners to aggressive 2-step brighteners as well as multi-grade sanding.

• Mild cleaning with sudsy ammonia

• Aggressive cleaning for heavily soiled teak, 2-step cleaning & brightening

• Multi-grit sanding eliminating all dirt and mold leaving teak smooth & blonde

• Various oils, varnishes & sealants per owners preference

• Through the use of Sea-Shields glass polishing system, we are able to eliminate hard water spots, light scratches & etching.

PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE

A weekly washing regiment is the most cost effective way to keep a boat shining week in and week out during the season.

What we do:

•Full wash and chamois dry from the waterline up

•Clean inside all hatches/compartments

•Black streak removal

•Apply a coat of spray wax

•Touch up any odds and ends

•Wipe down all metal and windows
