Attaching the TV to a desk (Only 26/32/42LG30**, 32/42LG50**)
WARNING!GG To prevent TV from falling over, the TV should be securely attached to the floor/wall per installation
instructions. Tipping, shaking, or rocking the machine may cause injury.
The TV must be attached to desk so it cannot be pulled in a forward/backward direction, potentially causinginjury or damaging the product. Use only an attached screw.

Carefully place the TV screen side down on acushioned surface to protect the screen fromdamage.
2 Assemble the parts of the SSttaanndd BBooddyy withthe CCoovveerr BBaassee of the TV.
Assemble the TV as shown.
Fix the 4 bolts securely using the holes in theback of the TV.

STAND INSTALLATION(LCD TV Models: 26/32/37/42LG30**, 32/37/42LG50**)
A When assembling the desk type stand, check whether the bolt is fully tightened. (If not tightened fully, the
product can tilt forward after the product installation.) If you tighten the bolt with excessive force, the bolt
can deviate from abrasion of the tightening part of the bolt.
(Only 19/22LG30**)
Carefully place the TV screen side down on a cushioned surface to protect the screen from damage.
Assemble the parts of the SSTTAANNDD BBOODDYY with CCOOVVEERR BBAASSEE of the TV. Insert the SSTTAANNDD BBOODDYY into aCCOOVVEERR BBAASSEE until clicking sound.
Assemble the TV as shown.

Insert the SSttaanndd BBooddyy into the TV until clickingsound.
Assemble the parts of the SSttaanndd BBooddyy withthe CCoovveerr BBaassee of the TV.

After installing the TV, you can adjust the TV manuallyto the left or right direction by 20 degrees to suit yourviewing position.

Place the tv with its front facing downward on acushion or soft cloth.
Pull the CCoovveerr BBaassee backward during pressinga button on the SSttaanndd BBooddyy.
Hold the CCoovveerr BBaassee and pull with shake itbackward to separate from the SSttaanndd BBooddyy.
4 Hold the SSttaanndd BBooddyy and bend it upward.
5 Pull stand body to separate from the TV duringpressing 2 latches.

PLEASE SET IT UP CAREFULLY SO THE PRODUCT DOES NOTFALL OVER.
You should purchase necessary components to fix the TV to the wall on the market.
Position the TV close to the wall to avoid the possibility of it falling when pushed.
The instructions shown below are a safer way to set up the TV, which is to fix it to the wall, avoiding thepossibility of it falling forwards if pulled. This will prevent the TV from falling forward and causing injury. Thiswill also prevent the TV from damage. Ensure that children do not climb or hang from the TV.
NOTE!
G When moving the TV undo the cords first.
G Use a platform or cabinet strong and large enough to support the size and weight of the TV.
G To use the TV safely make sure that the height of the bracket on the wall and on the TV is the same.

Use the eye-bolts or TV brackets/bolts to fix the TV to the wall as shown in the picture.
(If your TV has bolts in the eyebolts, loosen these bolts.)
* Insert the eye-bolts or TV brackets/bolts and tighten them securely in the upper holes.
Secure the wall brackets with the bolts on the wall. Match the height of the bracket that is mounted on thewall.
3 Use a sturdy rope to tie the TV. It is safer to tie the rope so it becomes horizontal between the wall and theTV.

Install the CCAABBLLEE MMAANNAAGGEEMMEENNTT CCLLIIPP as shown.
If your TV has the CABLE HOLDER, install it as shown and bundle the cables.2
CABLE MANAGEMENT CLIP
Hold the CCAABBLLEE MMAANNAAGGEEMMEENNTT CCLLIIPP with both hands and pull it upward.
* For the 42PG10** model, press the center of the CABLE MANAGEMENT CLIP and then lift up it.
How to remove the cable management clip

WATCHING TV / PROGRAMME CONTROL
This function enables you to watch some encrypted services (pay services). If you remove the CI Module, youcannot watch pay services.When the module is inserted into the CI slot, you can access the module menu.To purchase a module and smart card, contact your dealer. Do not repeatedly insert or remove a CAM modulefrom the TV. This may cause a malfunction. When the TV is turned on after inserting a CI Module, you may nothave any sound output.
This may be incompatible with the CI module and smart card.
CI (Common Interface) functions may not be possible depending upon the country broadcasting circumstances.
This OSD is only for illustration and the menu optionsand screen format will vary according to the Digital payservices provider.
It is possible for you to change CI (Common Interface)menu screen and service by consulting your dealer.

GG Connect the HDMI/DVI IN or HDMI IN terminal of the TV to the rear terminal (HDMI terminal) of theSIMPLINK device with the HDMI cable.
GG After connecting the HDMI terminal for the home theatre with the SIMPLINK function using the abovemethod, connect the DIGITAL AUDIO OUT terminal on the back of the TV to the DIGITAL AUDIO IN ter-minal on the back of the SIMPLINK device with the OPTICAL cable.

EPG (ELECTRONIC PROGRAMME GUIDE)(IN DIGITAL MODE)
This system has an Electronic Programme Guide (EPG) to help your navigation through all the possible viewingoptions.
The EPG supplies information such as programme listings, start and end times for all available services. In addition, detailed information about the programme is often available in the EPG (the availability and amount ofthese programme details will vary, depending on the particular broadcaster).
This function can be used only when the EPG information is broadcasted by broadcasting companies.
The EPG displays the programme description for next 8 days.
