The Course: MonashHeart (Monash Medical Centre, Melbourne) will be providing their 20th cardiac CT course in May 2018. The course will take place in the luminary site cardiac CT facility at MonashHeart in Melbourne. The course will be taught by highly experienced Australian Level B accredited faculty led by - Associate Professors Sujith Seneviratne and John Troupis. The course will include exposure to and experience in cardiac CT imaging, coronary artery disease with catheter correlation, congenital heart disease and acquired non-coronary artery disease. All live cases will be on a Toshiba 320-slice Aquilion ONE ViSION CT scanner. Each participant will work independently on their own state-of-the-art, dedicated cardiac CTA 3D Vitrea 6.3 workstation. Duration:

The mini-fellowship can provide mentored live case reporting and/or non live (library) mentored cases and can be expected to be completed in four to five days (25 live cases).

Tuition:

$5,000 (plus GST) for 25 mentored live cases

$3,500 (plus GST) for 25 mentored live cases (those who have completed the

CVCTA/MonashHeart CTA course)

$9,000 (plus GST) for 50 cases (25 live)

$6,500 (plus GST) for 50 cases (25 live) (those who have completed the CVCTA/

MonashHeart CTA course)

Requirements for Acceptance into MonashHeart Mini Fellowship:

ACC/SCCT level 1 or level 2 CTA structured training course or

Level A or level B Australian accreditation.

Completion of “medical observership” requirements for Monash Health

including a police check in accordance with Monash Health requirements.

Cardiac CT Luminary Site Mini Fellowships 25 or 50 (non-course) cases

To Help Meet Level A or Level B CTCA Specialist Training Requirements. MonashHeart provides a number of cardiac CT “mini-fellowship” options with either 25 or 50 mentored cases in a real practice (non-course) setting to contribute to level A or level B specialist training or re-accreditation requirements for conjoint committee (VSANZ, ANZAPNM, RANZCR) recognition of training in CT coronary angiography*. Logbook certification will be provided by Australian Level B CTCA experts.
