INITIAL RESPONSE.

FIRST RESPONSE After sending the initial email to the council, a response was sent to me almost immediately. The reply sets out all the tasks that need to be completed before we can film our soap opera trailer.

Step 1. As the filming will take place along side a street, I needed to ensure that I have permission from the surrey highway department. Using the link given to me in the email I was able to fill in an application for this permission.

Step 2: Upon filling in the application, the form asked me all the relevant information regarding our filming and the area its set in. for example: Location Details Production details Requirements:

for example Actors in police uniforms

Step 3:

The final part to the application is a

reference number from the police.

This is needed because our trailer revolves

around a Kidnapping and could distress

some civilians.

Step 4. I called the police on the number provided to me (01483 571212) and asked for the reference number.

I completed the application with the reference number (P16255216)
