Preface
Manarat International University(MIU) is one of the few private universities of Bangladesh,
which has built its own premises at the time of receiving the charter from the Government.
Manarat trust is the founder of MIU. It was born with a vision to inculcate ethical and moral
dimension while offering a comprehensive professional training.
Internship is an integral part of the BBA program. The primary goal of the internship is to
enhance a student’s theoretical understanding by transforming it in to real life practical
situation organizational attachments and few weeks of report preparation and submission
under the auspices of a supervisor for earning 4 credits.
Manarat is now posed to contribute to the human resources development by expanding the
scope of higher education in Bangladesh. The spirit of MIU is to foster congenial atmosphere
for intellectual growth, moral uplift and professional excellence.

my internship program. I would like to thank my supervisor Mohammad Jamal Hossain,
Lecturer in Statistics, Department of Business Administration, Manarat International
University for his guidance and giving me the opportunity to complete the report. More
specifically, I would like to thank his for imparting his time and wisdom.
I was given the opportunity to be an intern in “Evitex Apparels Limited” Shirirchala,
Bhabanipur, Joydebpur, Gazipur. The internship report is “Operations of Evitex Apparels
Limited.”
To accomplish the report I meet with some hardship, but managed to compete the case within
the given time constrain which would not have been possible without the guidance and
assistance of certain people.
At the very rudiment I would like to express my gratitude to Almighty Allah for enabling me
to prepare this report. I express my gratitude to Md. Anwar-ul Alam Chowdhury (Parvez)
Chairman and Managing Director of the Evitex Apparels Limited and Mrs. Shabnam shehnaz
Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Director of the Evitex Apparels Limited for their kind
permission to allow me for three months practical orientation in Evitex Apparels Limited.
I am also thankful to all other departmental heads, official, office staffs of the Evitex
Apparels Limited for their sincere co-operation and support.
An internship program is very much effective for a student to get the practical knowledge.
This program makes an opportunity for translation of the practical conception in real life
situation. Student can get real life test and can compare the knowledge with real station. It’s a
great opportunity for a student to understand to current market.
Executive Summaryvi
Evitex Apparels Limited is operated its operation activities in 1983 with the missions of
providing the best service to the customer and also making a strong position in the Global
Market. To be the unique modern garments in Bangladesh is its vision. Evitex Apparels
Limited mainly dealing with “WOVEN” items. And the buyers are such as- CHAPS, CELIO,
and TESCO etc. Evitex Apparels Limited has resulted in great success in all areas of
operation with a view to improve the economic development of the country. This study has
been presented based on the Operations of Evitex Apparels Limited, sister concern of Evince
Group.
There has clear idea about the operations process of making garments product. And also
describes export procedure of the Evitex Apparels Limited and the marketing strategy of
Evitex Apparels Limited. There has clear idea about how to make a superior relationship with
buyer and to create a brand image in European country by the marketing policy in Evitex
Apparels Limited.
Lack of co-ordination among different departments, inadequacy of sample, does not follow
proper marketing concept etc are mainly problems which are hampered in operations
activities of Evitex Apparels Limited.
Lastly the finishing chapter are completing through the recommendations of the problems
like as to make superior relationship among the different department, increasing well-
educated pattern master in sample section, recruiting some manpower, follow the proper
marketing concept for attaining the goal of Evitex Apparels Limited. Conclusion about the
study is that the company is to provide the maximum satisfaction to their customers through
continuous improvement of operational efficiency, cost effectiveness, latest design and
talents of work force.
