Hello from Alpacas of Dancing Meadows Farm. We’re located

about ten miles north of Goldendale, easily accessible and just

off Hwy. 97. We sell alpaca breeding stock, stud service,

fiber animals and fleece.

Alpacas are wonderful livestock for many reasons. To name a

few; they’re docile and small enough to be handled easily, they’re

easy on the land, they don’t eat a lot, they don’t challenge fences,

they produce a warm, luxurious, lanolin-and-dander-free fleece

which can be processed without toxic chemicals, and their fleece

comes in 22 natural colors.

We provide continued mentoring and advice to fit the needs of you, the customer.

Dogs of the Gorge shelter was established in 2007. We saw a

big need in Klickitat County to help the community with spaying

and neutering their companion animals. We also saw a need with

helping to re-home dogs for people.

We are a 501-3C group. We have fundraisers to raise money to

take care of our dogs. Donations are always welcome since many

dogs stay with us for long periods of time. If you would like to

make a donation to us, please mail us at Dogs of the Gorge,

P.O.Box 931, Goldendale Wa. 98620.

Since 2007 we have spayed/neutered over 600 dogs and 250

cats. We are hoping for a new shelter in the near future and we

would also love to get our own form of transportation so we can

stop using our own vehicles. If you would like to see our adopt-
