  • Student Ambassadors

     Employed through the Student Engagement and

    Leadership office: student leaders who work with

    groups across campus during various events.

     Have recruited Student Ambassadors to assist during

    Finals Week rush periods for a number of years.

     Testing in 4 locations during finals: Ambassadors greet

    students and direct them to the appropriate location.

     In turn, CTS staff members have been invited to:

    Ambassador Interview Committee, End-of-Year

    Banquets, other Campus “Privileged” Initiatives.

  • Bookstore Partnership

     In Autumn 2014, partnered with the College Bookstore

    to install a Point of Sale Machine in the Testing Center

     Calculators, batteries and other test taking items made

    available for purchase.

     Since then, 482 basic calculators and 31 packs of AAA

    batteries have been sold.

     Approx. 160 calculators per semester!

  • Cell Phone Lockers

     Matches vendor requirements - Consistency

     Acquired Cell Phone Lockers in March 2015 through College’s Capital Equipment cycle.

     Immediate decrease in the number of Cell Phone disruptions in the testing arena.

     20-30 Cell phone incidents per semester prior to the lockers.

     2 Incidents in Summer Semester (first full semester with lockers)

     1 of which was a deliberate cheating attempt – trying to use phone to capture test information.
