LESSONS FROM THE FIELD:

In this document, we summarize the lessons learned from the field as communities and organizations seek to implement programs such as the National Standards for Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS Standards). • One Community Partnership 2 (OCP2) in Broward County created a series

• In 2018, the TA Network established the Cultural and Linguistic Competence & Behavioral Health Equity Roundtable (known as the Roundtable). The Roundtable is a dedicated group of CLC Coordinators, Health Equity Coordinators and CLC /Health Equity Advocates who work within a System of Care. The goal of this group is to provide operational support and technical assistance to those working the area of CLC and Health Equity for a System of Care.

o The group meets monthly to discuss topics such as diversity in leadership, implicit bias, CLAS implementation, addressing bias in language and many other.

o Meetings occur via web-conference at 10 a.m. CDT on the 4th Friday of the month. To join the Roundtable, please email csbooth@cfclinc.org
