Lessons Activities Start with ‘Mild’ first. Once you have completed it, move onto ‘Medium’. If you want to
challenge yourself, move to ‘Hot’. Maths

You could this by creating a poster or a fact file. –Use the template below if need. Hot – Research why we have different season and research what the solstices are? Show your research in a PowerPoint or written report.

Mild- What does a plant need to grow? Cut and complete the flower diagram below. Medium –Research and label the different parts of the plants on the worksheet below. Hot – Research what photosynthesis is? Then complete the worksheet below.

Bake apple follow the recipe below.

Pick a day this week and create a mini photo diary of the activities you are
doing at home (maximum 3 photos)
Try and take the photographs yourself.
Extra :Include keywords to go with your picture

Plant a sunflower seed (or any seed) and start the sunflower booklet below.
Performing Arts
Mild- Make your own instruments at home using anything you can find and
see what sounds you can make.
Medium – Make your own instruments at home using anything you can find
and create a beat.
Hot- Make your own instruments at home using anything you can find and
create a tongue twisters to go with a beat.
Pupils can send in photos, videos or writing about what they did and what
they found enjoyable/challenging about it. Submitted videos and photos
can be used for an online video for those who are happy for it to be
included. P.E.
1) Lets get active
Try and get active as much as you can over the 4 weeks.
Task 1- Striking and Fielding- Linking to our summer sports; I want you to
practice your striking and fielding.
A) Find an object in a house (preferably a ball) that you practice throwing
and catching with another family member. Or against the wall. How many
can you complete without dropping it?
B) Find something you can use similar to a bat and practice your hitting
stroke. Start without hitting and object and then move to hitting something
soft that you through up. Finally add to someone throwing it and you softly
returning it.
Change the size of the objects to make it easier or more difficult.

measure.

3. What is the difference in length between the longest and shortest objects you
measured?
4. Which object had your most accurate estimation?
