What is reported speech? How do we use it and why?

Read with them the handout. Explain each rule in ReportedSpeech one by one. Explain the example on the applicationof each rule, and make them do one exercise per rule.

Introduce the OPPOSITE adjectives subject. Go to page 11and tell the students we they are going to learn theopposites of the adjectives they already know.

Teach them the opposites of each adjective. Try to explaintheir meaning to the students. Make them try to guess what

prefix does one determined adjective take. Help themrealize that one should sound ³better´ than the others.

Give them questions related to describing people and their personalities, by means of the use of adjectives.

Tell the students to write a small text, very simple,describing their best friend, using the questions given as aguide. They should also use some adjectives to describetheir best friend. Say good bye.

Help the groups that have to use the ³emotion´ given toreally express it. Teacher must give the example.
