Time : 60 minutes

Activities :

Teacher shows the pocket puppets and pupils recall the story that they had read in the previous lesson.

Pupils name the animals in the story. Teacher and pupils go through the story and song. Teacher gets the

pupils to sing the song again focusing the name of animals. Teacher shows the word cards and pupils spell the words. Pupils write the name of animals using the blank cards provided by the

teacher.

Teacher puts up letters on the board. Pupils rearrange the cards to form the name of animals according to the pocket puppet shows by the teacher.

Pupils write the name of animals correctly and neatly in the given worksheet individually.

Pupils match the picture of animals to the correct words. Pupils replace the pictures and write the word to complete the story

(Rebus writing).

Assessment : Pupils arrange the words to form correct sentences

Remedial : Pupils fill in the blanks with the suitable missing letters in the given worksheet.

Enrichment : Pupils memorize sentences according to the station and rearrange to form complete story correctly.
