Conversation Club: Art (Painting) _______CELEX GENERAL OBJECTIVE: Enable SS to produce by their own a short dialogue having as main topic art and painting, this, by providing them different words of vocabulary as well as different activities related to the main topic. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE PROCEDURE TIME MATERIAL SKILLS TEACHER ´NOTES Introduce the vocabulary that will be used during the session as well as enable SS to check which words they know and which words they don’t. Practice some questions related to the topic, also, giving the SS the opportunity to use or listen the vocabulary WARM UP The teacher will paste on the board some meanings in one column and in other column he will paste the names that correspond to the meanings but they will be in disorder. The main purpose of this activity is that the SS stand up and match each name with their meaning. Once they finish the teacher will check in order to see if there are mistakes and, in case he finds a mistake. (Appendix 1) ACTIVITIES The teacher will give to SS a little piece of paper. Each piece of paper will contain a question (Appendix 1) related to Art. Students will have to discuss in pairs their questions and, once they finish, the will change of partner and will continue discussing their question with another person. The main purpose is that the SS build a quick dialogue (max 2

minutes) related to the situation that they have in the paper. They

will have between 5 to 7 minutes to build their dialogue and, once

they finish, they will pass to the front of the classroom and expose

their dialogue.
