Day 2 1. Recognize the different functions of music such as celebrations, entertainment, worship, marketing, funeral and courtship.

* Let the students identify the function of each song in the lives of people.
Song Interpretation * Draw by lot:(each rolled paper contains the following: courtship, celebration, working song, entertainment, and worship). *Using the same group, the students will look for another example of songs based on the different functions.*The class is given a chance to formulate their own criteria with the proper guidance of the teacher.*Rubrics set by the teacher:Clear tone quality- 20%Correct expression and style- 20%Accurate Pitch and Rhythm- 30%Resourcefulness - 30% 100%

* Encourage students to use indigenous materials in their short presentation using their creativity and uniqueness.
* Facilitates students practice.
Pre-evaluation Activity: * Each group is given 10 minutes to present how far they’ve mastered their musical presentation.
* The teacher will give feedbacks for the improvement of their musical presentation.
