Optimising your graphics for their intended output
Learning Aims:• All of you will consider why graphics need to be
optimised to ensure high quality.
• Most of you will be able to discuss technical aspects that need to be considered.
• Some of you will be able to use examples of how graphics would alter dependent on the final output.
What types of technical considerations do you need to make when creating your graphics?
Why would you need to ensure the technical aspects of your graphics are correct?
Your client brief will include the following outlines:
• intended image output, eg screen type, worldwide web
• How would this impact on your settings when creating graphics?
How does the final destination of the graphics impact on the following settings? Research and present in pairs
• bit depth • resolution• dimensions• File type• compression
