HeightChallenged Membership Program – Lesson #1: Get Started Immediately 4

Forward

Welcome to your first HeightChallenged™ membership program lesson!

I can’t tell you how excited I am to have you as a valued member of our 3 monthprogram and I’m looking forward to helping you gain from 1 to 4 inches in heightas quickly as possible.

But before we get started with your first lesson, there are a few important thingsthat I want to go over with you:

1. Unannounced Bonuses Every Month

Once a month, you’ll automatically receive a COMPLIMENTARY bonus as

an active HeightChallenged™ program member. I’ll be sending it out toyour inbox approximately every 30 days. These bonuses will haveadditional training materials and accessories that will enhance the entireprogram, furthering ensuring your success.

Furthermore, I’ve added a few other “surprises” along the way that will besent out at unspecified intervals. These include recipes, my reviews of particular brands of supplements, and some amazing tips on confidence, health, and boosting your energy.

Finally, the HeightChallenged “graduation” bonus that I’m shipping out at

the end of the course is truly worth more than three times’ the threemonths of subscription dues. This is something you really, truly don’t wantto miss, so look for it on graduation day.

2. Why You Should Never Cancel

There are really too many reasons to list why you should stick with your HeightChallenged membership. But a couple of reasons that stick out asbeing really important come to mind:

• You’re starting the HeightChallenged program with a goal in mind:

you want to add inches to your height. While being taller in and of itself is definitely the goal, we’d be lying to ourselves if we tried toconvince ourselves that we want to be taller just for the sake of being taller.

HeightChallenged Membership Program – Lesson #1: Get Started Immediately 5

Many times, we want to be taller for romantic reasons. While its notfair, it’s certainly true that society places a premium on height –particularly when deciding who is and who is not to be deemed as

“attractive.” Everyone wants to be more attractive. Now, I’m thelast person to say that short people are unattractive, but you knowas well as I do that being taller (or even just feeling taller) can havea profound effect on a person’s image of themselves and howattractive they feel. This inward feeling of attractiveness easilytranslates into confidence and that confidence is extremelyattractive to the opposite sex.

There are other reasons to want to be taller as well. Maybe it’sbecause you feel your lack of height is holding you backprofessionally. Many people believe (sometimes rightfully so) thattheir lack of height results in them receiving a lack of respect fromtheir peers, even if its not deliberate or even conscious. Anincrease in confidence that comes from being taller can have animmense outward effect on the way people see you professionally,as well.

Whatever your reason for starting this course, remember that bydoing so, you are doing something for yourself. You are making apositive change in your life that will give back benefits for years andyears – possibly for the rest of your life. The positive changes inyour height, your health, your confidence, and your spirit that thisprogram can help you implement for yourself can makeimmeasurable positive impacts on every other facet of your life.

The information to change your life is here. Use it. Even if youcan’t use it all right now, you have the option to archive it all andstart the program later. But I implore you to put it to use as soon aspossible. Don’t let this opportunity go to waste “collecting dust” onyour hard drive.

• The HeightChallenged membership program is sequential. Thismeans that if you decide to cancel and rejoin for some reason, youwill have to start all over from the beginning. There is no “pickingup from where you left off” with this program. I very stronglyencourage you to stay with the HeightChallenged program for the entire 3 month duration.

Trust me when I say that you will thank me in the end.

HeightChallenged Membership Program – Lesson #1: Get Started Immediately 6

Alright, now that we got that little bit of “housekeeping” out of the way –let’s get started with what we’re here for: your first lesson!

Introduction

In our first lesson, I’m going to give you some basic overview information that willallow you to “hit the ground running.” I’m going to go over most of it prettyquickly, but that’s for a reason: so you can start right away.

In the weeks to come, I’ll be coming back to each of the “overview” topics for a

much more detailed explanation. For many of them – such as nutrition andexercises - I will be coming back again and again as we advance through thecourse.

Some – or even most – of the material in this first week’s course may seem basicto people that have actively researched height-increasing techniques beforebecoming a HeightChallenged program member. If you have seen thesetechniques before or have even tried them before – particularly if you have hadno success – I urge you to discontinue any regimen that you may be using nowand start fresh using only the HeightChallenged program techniques.

The last thing you should be worried about is losing any gains you may havemade using another form of stretching. The HeightChallenged program will giveyou any benefits that you may be getting from another program or exercise andstretching regimen plus much, much more.

Finally, before we begin I want to discuss the “pink elephant” that’s standingamongst us in this imaginary room. See him over there? He has a large sign onhim that is emblazoned with his name, “Genetics.”

There’s a reason that I haven’t said too much about genetics thus far.

That reason is this: you can’t change your genetics. There is nothing you can doto alter, change, or improve upon the DNA code that is imprinted within every cellin your body. What you have is what you have.

But we’ve always been told that genetics is what establishes our height and sincegenetics can’t be altered that means that height can’t be altered…right?

HeightChallenged Membership Program – Lesson #1: Get Started Immediately 8

Nutrition

I know that I don’t have to tell you how important proper nutrition is – it’s theabsolute most crucial element in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. And maintaininga healthy lifestyle is absolutely crucial in successfully completing theHeightChallenged program and increasing your height.

Before you start, you need to take a long, hard look at your dietary habits. Morelikely than not, you are going to have to make some changes.

Before you get angry at me, I want to make something clear: I’m not asking youto maintain a “monkish” diet. You are going to be able to eat and eat well. Infact, you may even find that you’re going to have to eat more than you usuallyeat.

That last line may scare you if you are concerned about gaining weight. Don’t letit. While you will be eating well, maybe even more than you typically eat – youwill be eating foods that are able to be almost fully utilized by your body to makeyou healthier, increase energy, fight harmful free radicals, and especiallypromote healthy growth.

While you will be receiving specific recipes and eating guidelines in a later installment, for right now all you need to do is to take stock of how you currentlyeat, throw out the bad habits, and start implementing some foundationalnutritional basics.

The way that you eat from day to day is a habit. If you have found that you haveeating habits that are not so ideal, then it will take a few weeks of diligence andrestraint to break them. It has been said that it takes three weeks - or 21 days -of doing something every day to make it a habit. I have found that this is truewhether the habit is good or bad. But this has been my experience and everyoneis different. You may find that you fall into good habits fairly quickly or you mayfind that it takes a little longer for you. This is where your internal discipline anddiligence will come heavily into play.

Before I tell you about the good, I want to tell you what you need to stay away

from. Basically, I’m going to tell you to follow general optimal nutrition guidelines.Again, some of this may seem “basic” to you, but remember that unless youfollow the basic guidelines, you will not get any success from the more advancedmaterial. Also, much of the foods and supplements that are recommended to eator stay away from have no direct effect on your height. However, they will

contribute to an overall picture of optimal health that is extremely necessary for you to adhere to if you want the program to work successfully.

Notice that some of these have the word “excessive” before them and some donot. That’s because almost everything is “ok” in moderation. And by“moderation,” I mean very, very limited. As in maybe one or two servings per week. However, trans fats and tobacco use are strictly off-limits.

Trans fat is a mutated, engineered strain of fat that is nothing short of poison for the body. Avoid ANYTHING with the words “partially hydrogenated oil” in theingredients list. Trans fats are mutated fats that confuse the body – studies haveshown that it goes so far as to even trick the body into thinking it needs more

food even after eating. It’s a dangerous chemical and is fortunately beingbanned from use or at least ostracized by the general, health-conscious public.

Tobacco use introduces dozens of extremely harmful carcinogens and a dizzyingamount of free radicals into the body with each and every use. Trying to gainheight while using tobacco would be akin to trying to tap dance in quicksand. It

just isn’t going to happen. I won’t lecture you about the dangers of smoking or other tobacco use – I know that you’ve heard them all before. If you smoke or use smokeless tobacco, you already know what you need to do: quit now .

guidelines in the weeks to come, but rather than to force you into a rigidnutritional regimen right away, it’s better to slowly acclimate yourself to the ideaof eating healthier over the next week. This will make the necessary transition to

optimal eating habits much, much easier.Try to shoot for a 40-30-30 ratio for the next week in all of your meals (5 to 7meals a day): 40% lean protein, 30% “good” carbohydrates, and 30% “good” fats.

Stretching

As you may imagine, stretching plays a fairly significant role in theHeightChallenged program. However, it’s not as large as you may think.

Additionally, the stretching that is involved is not incredibly intensive, but willdemand that you are at least moderately limber.

Please consult your physician before you begin this or any stretching or exercise program, particularly if you have a history of heart trouble or are

susceptible to injury or fatigue.

Like nutrition, I am starting you off on stretching exercises that will help get your body limber and ready for the more advanced and intensive stretches that comein later lessons. Please adhere strictly to the prescribed guide below unlessmedical conditions prohibit you.

Week #1 – Assignment #2

Stretching Routine – Days 1 Thru 7

Perform the entire routine twice daily; first thing in the morning and justbefore bed.

Standing Stretches

Stand with your feet together. Reach your hands as high above your head asyou can. Maintaining your stability, lean slightly backwards so that you feel thestretch in your lower back. The great thing about these stretches is that the“standing” part is optional. You can even do these stretches lying in bed. Besure to feel the stretching motion in your legs, shoulders and arms as well. Thepurpose is to limber entire body for the subsequent stretches in the series.

Bow Downs

Stand with your feet at shoulder width. Place your hands on your hips and bendforward at the waist as far as you can while maintaining stability. Keep your knees straight and your eyes forward. Perform five sets of 10 repetitions; eachrepetition should last six seconds.

Yawns

Stand with your feet at shoulder width. Lace your fingers behind your head andlook up at the ceiling. Slowly arch your back inward so that you are bending over backwards while maintaining stability. Keep your knees straight and your eyesforward. Perform five sets of 10 repetitions; each repetition should last sixseconds.

Twists

Stand with your feet at shoulder width. Extend your arms out to each side andkeep them at shoulder level. Twist your upper body at the waist to the left whilemaintaining stability. Stop when your body resists going further and twist back tothe right. Each twist should last around three seconds. Perform 20 repetitions.

Wall-Assisted Stretches

Stand with your feet together with your back against a wall. Reach both handsup straight above your head while rising to your toes. Keep your spine as flatagainst the wall as absolutely possible. It may take a few tries to becomeacclimated to the motion, particularly because of the necessity to keep your spineflat against the wall. Each repetition should last about 5 seconds. Perform 20repetitions.

Leg Stretch

Sit down on the floor and extend your legs at 45 degree angles from your body.Place one hand on top of the other, bend from the waist, and reach for your lefttoes. Hold for about 10 seconds and slowly bring your body up to the startposition. Repeat for the right side. Perform 10 repetitions for each side.

Back and Leg Stretch

Staying in the sitting position, bend your knees so that the bottoms of both of your feet are touching. Grab your toes and lean forward as far as you can. Youwill be able to feel the stretching motion in your lower back and legs. Hold for about 10 seconds. Perform 10 repetitions.
