A brief history…For the past 120 years, Winckelmans has been producing unglazed fully vitrified tiles in the north of France. Our longevity has spawned a fruitful alliance between time-tested know-how and a rigorous, courageous family management style whatever the historical circumstances.The fifth generation of Winckelmans is now at the helm to oversee this extraor-dinarily rich heritage. Our 150 employees are dedicated to serving the customer, united by a sense of a family spirit, proud of their product and its long history. Over the years our company has invested in the most modern automated machinery and technology to reinforce our industrial capacity, yet we have not lost our craftsmanship. A flexible & fully industrial manufacturing process…Today we control the entire process of unglazed fully vitrified tile manufac-turing. The conjunction of short production cycles and a full range of stock allows us to react quickly to the market. We can thus respond to highly varied requests, from small crates to containers, from the individual house to a vast construction project. The flexibility of our management and manufacturing structure also means we are equipped to honour special orders, such as specific formats, colors or products not listed in our catalogue.

The colors and mat surface of our tiles are completely natural, and make our products the favourite of architects and decorators throughout the world.In addition to authenticity, our products are both extremely resistant and durable - made to last whether used in private homes or busy public spaces.
