Introducing Lesley Visser

Since launching her career as a football-focused reporter for The Boston Globe in 1976, sportscaster Lesley Visser has closely followed the NFL. Her early years as a beat reporter involved covering the New England Patriots. She subsequently joined CBS Sports and served in various capacities, including as a Monday Night Football analyst and pre-game reporter for three Super Bowls.

Pete Rozelle Radio-Television Award

In 2006, in recognition of her decades of experience covering the NFL, Ms. Visser became the first woman ever to receive the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Pete Rozelle Radio-Television Award. Established in 1989 in honor of the former NFL Commissioner, the award annually honors professionals who have made "exceptional contributions to radio and television in professional football." Award recipients extend beyond the broadcast booth and include production personnel and executives.
