Things to know about colors and how they work in sentences

• the color always follows the noun that it is describing

Orange is one of a few invariable colors. This mean that it does not have to agree with the noun.

Ex: Une jupe orange.

Fashion Show

Haute Couture LHHS style

Fashion Show Criteria• Team up with a partner• You will present each other in the fashion show and describe what each

other is wearing.• Each person must describe at least 4 articles of clothing including

lengths/fitting and color. • You are encouraged to be as creative as possible so long as the clothing is

appropriate and in accordance with school policy. • This presentation is worth 10 oral points and 10 Classwork points. The oral

points will be determined based on the accuracy of the vocabulary words being used, the correct use and pronunciation of articles, and accuracy in color agreement. Enthusiasm in presenting and while being presented in the fashion show is a must to get a score of 10. The classwork points will be determined by the student’s preparation and effective use of class time as well as accuracy of information written on final draft of the outfit description.

• Extra Credit will be given for those who choose to wear/present more than 4 items, and for out-of-the- ordinary clothing such as suits, ties, and fancy dresses.

• You may bring your own music to play during your presentation so long as it does not contain anything explicit or offensive.

• When you are being presented, you must show or point to item being described.
