Elders Fundraiser Dinner

May 16, 2013

5-7pm at the Leq’a:mel gym

$8—Adult Meal

$4—Children’s Meal

This month’s menu for adults includes an Indian Taco,

salad, dessert and a refreshment. For children there will

be hotdogs as an alternative. Proceeds will assist with

travel to the 2013 Annual Elders Gathering in Prince

George. There will be a 50/50 and small loonie raffle

table. Donations are welcome!

Drumming/Cultural

The Elders are having another fundraiser on Thurs-

day, May 16th. We will do a couple songs and if we

have youth show up, we will do a couple dances.

Thursday May 23rd—drumming will take place at

the Deroche Hall.

June 27th—Drum Making Workshop for those

who have attended all drumming/cultural nights in

May and June.

Tae Kwon Do

Wednesday May 22nd—class will be located at the

Deroche Hall.

Cedar Hat Workshop—all seats are filled—Date TBA

Babysitter’s Course (Ages 11-18)—Summer 2013 TBA

Sign up list is open! Please remember that this is mainly for Leq’a:mel Youth. Please limit to one parent

per family. Seats are limited to 60 people—youth and parents. Deadline to sign up is July 19th at 4 pm.
