PARA PRONUNCIAR MEJOR 1) La letra d en inglés, cuando va en medio dela palabra y antes de una consonante, no siempre se pronuncia. Por ejemplo: handbag se pronuncia hanbag y lo mismo sucede con las combinaciones de hand:handkerchief, handful, handmade, handsome, etc. Este es el caso de las combi-naciones de end: endless, endmost, Wednesday, etcétera.
Habrá, por tanto, que fijarse cuando aparezcan nuevas palabras como las antesseñaladas y memorizar su pronunciación correcta.
2) La d inicial no ofrece mayor dificultad. Ejemplo: doctor.
Pero habrá que pronunciar claramente la d cuando ésta aparezca al final de la pa-labra, ya que en español es poco frecuente y muchas personas la omiten.
