THE EVOLUTION OF THE HARDWOOD MARKETS IN EGYPT AND THE MIDDLE AND FAR EASTERN COUNTRIES

Records show that in 2012 Romania mantained its position among other European countries, as one of the leading producers and exporters of lumber and other hardwood products. The main markets on which Romania is traditionally active are: the Near East (i.e. Egypt, Syria, Tunis, Jordan), the Middle East (U.A.E., Kuwait, Qatar) or the Far East (China). Nevertheless, Romania has important links to Europe as well.
