Cornish Hen, Roasted Potatoes, Corn, Biscuits, Dessert $15 for Adults $10 for children 10 and under Proceeds help to fund annual dues, summer camp (where most badges are earned) and monthly camping trips. CROSSES FOR PALM SUNDAY This year the Chancel Committee has decided to try something different for Palm Sunday services. Instead of the normal palm fronds we will be giving crosses made from palm leaves. This came about when we received a brochure from African Palms USA. This is an outreach program founded by Father Alan Talbot who served as a missionary in Tanzania for six years. During that time he observed the poverty of the people and sought ways for them to increase their income. He encouraged them to weave palm crosses and totes made from palm leaves to sell to churches. Proceeds from the sale of these products help to fund basic humanitarian needs. The cost of these crosses is more than what we normally spend on palms so we are asking church members to consider making a small donation toward the cost. Please place your donation in an envelope marked “Crosses for Palm Sunday.” Thank you for your prayerful consideration of this outreach ministry. A paper inside will indicate an item needed in our food pantry. Pick that item up the next time you are shopping and bring it in for the pantry.

The Chancel Committee is once again offering you the opportunity to help beautify the church on Easter Sunday. Order a lily in honor or in memory of a loved one. The cost per plant is $10. You may order plants for the next 3 Sundays, but April 9th is the last day that we can accept orders! You may also donate to missions which is our own food pantry this year. Cross Connection is currently looking for team
members, especially needed are singers. We are also looking
for guitar bass, keyboard, percussion, brass and woodwind
players. Rehearsals are Sunday mornings before services as
