CITES is the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, an

international agreement whose aim is to ensure that international trade in specimens of wild animals

and plants does not threaten their survival.

Below there are the specimens included in CITES and in our catalogue:

APPENDIX II - It includes species whose trade is closely controlled. All Dalbergia species are accompanied

by Annotation #15. According to this Annotation, export permit or re-export certificate are mandatory

for all parts (logs, sheets, veneers) and derivatives except: leaves, flowers, pollen, fruits, and seeds. Non-

commercial exports of a maximum total weight of 10 kg per shipment may be permitted.

TERMS AND

SALES CONDITIONS

TRADE TERMS: all prices are in Euros. Shipping and handling costs will be charged on the invoice at the

customer's expense. Prices listed on the catalogue and website are subject to change without further

notice.

MINIMUM ORDER: the minimum order value is € 30,00 for shipments to Italy and within the EU (VAT

and shipment excluded) or € 100,00 out of the EU zone (shipment excluded). There are no minimum

orders for purchases made directly our Sawmill in Desio, Italy.

HANDLING FEES: For shipment orders with an amount comprised between € 30,00 and € 50,00:

€ 10,00 will be charged for handling fees (excluding VAT and shipping).

A 5% discount will be applied to all orders for over € 200,00* of standard items selected from the

catalogue. *(for EU buyers: order value excluding VAT)

PAYMENT: For a shipment order, payment must be made in advance by bank transfer or credit card

(VISA, Mastercard or Amex). We do not accept DINERS CLUB.

VAT: The Italian VAT tax will not be applied to any order processed towards countries outside the

European Union. The Italian VAT (22%) will be applied to all orders processed within the European

Union. Companies that can provide a valid and registered VAT number will not be charged with VAT.

To be eligible for VAT deduction, the company’s VAT number will have to be registered on the European

VAT registry.

DELIVERY: for standard items, orders will be processed through international courier within 10 days

from date of order confirmation. Shipping charges will vary depending on the weight and destination of

the order. Kindly contact us for an estimate of the delivery costs.

International shipping charges only cover delivery costs and do not include customs duties or any other

additional tax or cost applied by your government or country.

PHYTOSANITARY CERTIFICATE: by international law, all exports outside the European Union must be

accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate, for which an additional cost of € 20,00 will be charged.

Please note that delivery will be delayed due to the certificate handling.

CITES CERTIFICATE: for the exportation outside the European Union of wood under CITES protection, we

will charge a fee of € 45,00 for the CITES certificate to be issued by the local State Forestry Corps (Corpo

Forestale dello Stato). Please note that the handling of each CITES certificate will delay delivery.

RETURNS POLICY: If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you must contact us within 15

working days from date of receipt. Original shipping costs are not refundable and you are responsible

for the shipping return expenses. Once the goods have been received from our side, refund will be

processed.

PROCESSING: These are the processes that we can carry through: cutting, sanding, sizing and planing.

The following are the fixed rates:

- thicknessing and sanding of soundboards, back and sides sets, € 2,00 each set.

- thicknessing, planing, body cutting, € 5,00 each piece.

For other instruments or other processes in general a quote will be provided during the order phase.
