The Prince William chamber of commerce’s 2013 General assembly Session legislative Scorecard rates legislators representing the Prince William region based on their support of pro-business issues during the recently completed legislative session. each report card is calculated based on the legislator’s voting record on the principles and issues outlined in the Prince William chamber of commerce’s 2013 Policy agenda. each vote a legislator took in support of the chamber’s position received +1 point and each vote against the chamber’s position received -1 point. committee votes were also taken into consideration. Priority legislation, such as the transportation funding package, was weighted by a factor of two. additionlly, legislator’s were given 1 point each for patronage of chamber supported legislation and leadership taken on chamber priority issues.
