MODELLING LEARNING OF BANDURA Children behaviour is learned by imitation or
modelling. People noticed as modell.Learning Process by modell behaviour noticed
as modelling.
Modelling Learning ProcessProcess 1 : Attention (notices
something in the environment)Process 2: Retention (remember what
was the noticed)Process 3 : Reproduction (produces an
action that is copy of what was notice)
Process 4 : Motivation(consequence changes the probability the behavior will be emitted again).
Application of Bandura Theory in Learning Activity
In our learning process since we are in lower grade, we use Bandura’s Theory unconciously. Bandura’s Theory also applied in our daily activities and our development
process. It is spontaneously
Directly: Imitating model behavior directly by noticing
• Indirectly: Imitating model behavior indirectly by imaginating
Fusion: Fusioning of directly and indirectly imitation
• Limited: Imitating model behavior in particular situation only
Unlimited: Imitating model behavior in all situation .
Kinds of Imitation
Example of Bandura’s Theory in School Learning Process
1. Directly: Teacher shown how to write alphabeth word to the student by practice it in blackboard in front of the class. And then the teacher let the student try by their self in the book for several times until the student familiar with that.
2. Indirectly: Teacher ask students to draw animal cell based on the book, so the students will draw the object that exist on their book.
3. Fusion: The teacher ask students to drawing and coloring some picture. The teacher imitating the way to draw the objects, then students coloring the objects based on the way in their book.
4. Limited: The children can follow fashion of selebrities, but they cannot use it in school because in school there are rule that obligate students use uniform.
4. Unlimited: Students usually say greeting when teacher is come and out from class, the behavior not only can practice in school or class, but student can say greeting at anywhere and anytime.
Problem That Happen Caused By Bandura Theory1. Teacher is not always show interesting
teaching in front of the students, so the students can’t accept the subject fully.
2. Teacher is sometimes shows not good behavior in front of students that can affect the student behavior.
3. The students get their understanding in subject if they get satisfied and strengthen from the way of teacher teaching. So if the students is not satisfied with teacher, the bandura theory can’t walk.
Implication of Bandura Modeling TheoryTeachers delivery about some subject matter
have to skillful and interesting so that can be model role to students.
Teacher demonstrate is must be clearly and interest so that the students can imitating fast.
Teachers can use partner that clever as model.Teacher can teach some of subject matter with
use role playing and simulation.
