The concept of language learning is linked to the traditional approach to the study of languages.

The form is greater importance than communication.

The teacher is an authority figure and the participation of the student is predominantly passive.

Language acquisition

Language acquisition refers to the process of natural assimilation and subconscious learning.

The acquisition approach praises the communicative act and develops self-confidence in the learner.

What is the interrelationship between learning and acquisition

LEARNING is important in the mastering of a language. The student needs to learn grammar, vocabulary, and expressions to be able to speak correctly.

ACQUISITION of the language is essential to be able to use it in practical situations.

One of them is not enough to speak correctly..

Students cannot use their knowledge in conversation.

Students cannot speak grammatically correct a language.
