To maintain their existence in internet business, the two sub companies of PT. Global Digital Prima (GDP) Venture surely have a specific strategy in managing their products. Making customer loyal to a certain product is not an easy task, because people's preference keep on changing along with time. The strategy was shared with PTIIK students attending the event in Widyaloka UB Building.

Ardyanto Alam, Product Manager Kaskus.co.id said that to create a product that can be loved by the people, company has to have three human resource positions to fill on, as Product Manager (PM), Development Manager (DM) and Program Manager (PgM). PM has the duty to determine the right product to be made. DM has the duty to actualize the product's production which has been determined by PM. Meanwhile PgM determine the feasibility of the product to be marketed. With career experience of 17 years in some known United States companies, Ardy found that the most important thing that should be possessed by a PM is product passion and customer empathy. "A product manager must love their product and sure that the product will be beneficial for the people. Second, good product manager must be able to put their perspective on customer's view. Thus, they will be able to determine the

best product for customer," Ardy said.

Meanwhile, on the same event, Ifnu Bima as the Development Lead of Blibli.com shared his knowledge on the strategy and pattern of software product development implemented in Blibli.com. Ifnu said that for software product development, there are several patterns implemented in Blibli.com. The first one is Waterfall Model. On the waterfall model, software product development process is executed in order, from requirements, design, development to implementation. On such model, The process cannot go back to the previous stage, so that it is impossible to accommodate changes and addition of requirements. The waterfall model is good for a predicted system. That is why, such model is not very fitting to be implemented in Blibli, which has dynamic model."So we turn to Agile Methodology and we use scrum model up to now. The Scrum model focuses on flexibility on changes that happen on the development process. That is why it is more fitting to be implemented in Blibli," Ifnu said.

The PTIIK students who attended the event also got opportunity to ask questions about the presentation. More than the guest lecture forum, the PTIIK student can also submit questions to Ardy and Ifnu through email.

Since the signing of cooperation MoU between PT. GDP Venture and UB and PTIIK on May 17, 2013, PT. GDP Venture has contribute a lot for the development of education in UB, especially in PTIIK. Such as by conducting campus recruitment, presenting speakers for knowledge sharing with PTIIK students on various opportunities of guest lecture and PTIIK room branding.

On this event PT. GDP also conducts campus recruitment to fill the positions of IT staff in its sub companies and business partners. The recruitment was held for two days (2-3/10) and participated by about 50 graduates and students of late semesters of PTIIK. "The first day is for psychotest. Second day for technical test and interview with me, Pak Ardy and Pak Ifnu as the user. Those who pass the two tests will have to take two more tests, interview with our Head of Technology and medical tests. It is expected that we can find human resource we need in this recruitment," as said by Sandra Kumalasari as the Head of Human Resources PT GDP who attended the event accompanying Ardy and Ifnu.
